Aol Desktop Gold
Suggest you offer an option in the settings for mail to always show oldest "New" mail at the top, and newest at the bottom permanently. Currently, I have to click on 'Date' every time to reverse the order of display!

Please develop a way to copy a mail folder to a thumbdrive. I assume it would have to be encrypted and then unencrypted.
Develop a way to copy individual AOL mail or an AOL mail folder to a thumbdrive. I assume it would be encrypted somehow for AOL only when it is saved. But, then an AOL unencryption program or another AOL Gold Program could read it from the thumbdrive.

Default mail settings
How to change default type face Set as Courier new and has to be changed every time. Should have something in set up to select a default type face

Folders can't be moved to "Saved on AOL"
We ought to be able to Copy "Saved on my PC" folders to "Saved on AOL" as there are several selective backup utilities that can only see content on "Saved on AOL" folders.
As another reviewer said, the Manage Folders functions "Move" and "Save Folder As" functions are not working.

Convenient Email settings gone.
New Gold Format has taken away small, but convenient settings. I now have to open each one of my screens to see if there is mail. Old Format showed number of emails on Sign On screen list.

How do I add new fonts to AOL Gold? Used to be able to use Edwardian script to make fancy messages but the choices with GOLD are limited??
Need more font choices such as Edwardian script or such to make nice cards or messages. Old version allowed more fonts and/or ability to add fonts? Can we add new fonts?

Transferring data
I attempted to copy everything I have in AOL 9.8.0 on my Windows 7 desktop to AOL Gold on my new Windows 10 computer. Everything moved without any problem
except "Mail waiting to be sent." I am told by your tech department that it is not possible. That is hard to accept! My wife has years of writings in "Mail waiting to be sent" that are now useless unless I keep the old computer. I believe AOL should write the code to facilitate this move for its long time customers. This is extremely frustrating for our business, especially since we… -

Highlite the folder name In AOL Gold left had folder list please.
When moving an email to a folder found in the left hand column of My Mail Folders of Desktop Gold, please highlite the folder name, just like you do with the mail move list that pops up on the right side and on AOL.com folder list.

AOL needs to modify its policy on the BULK / BCC e-mail problem!Those users that are in organizations versus (business or solicitation) require to have free access to sending e-mails to their supporters, members and community colleagues.When the pre-GOLD AOL was in use, there was the ability to send out e-mails to organizations with out silent messages, suspicious activities or change password threats - this is NOT relevant to AOL customers that have used the AOL system for many years - and may have to think about changing to another ISP that doesn't cause such disruption.You should institute a waiver…

spell check
Please give us back the Skip all option in Spell check in a document with proper names or items not recognized by spell check: You kept Replace all so why not Skip all!
And please all us to start spell check where the curser is: Since we cannot click Skip All we have to repeat every word we want to keep that you do no recognize which in a long email can be time consuming!
Bottom line after reading all the other suggestions, just give us back 9.8! When something isn't broken don't fix it! Gold is a disaster on… -
Link Activation
Remove the bar you have to click on to use the links in emails. This was just started and is a PIA.

I,m so used to click twice, that this new email always give two emails, one I will work on it, and the other ones is blank. Please make it one click

How do I delete email headers & footers when printing?
If I don't want email headers and footers to appear on printed email, how do I turn this feature off by default? The workaround in print preview has an easy check the box option, but only for that particular email.

Saving individual mail folders in Gold
Bring back the old way of saving mail folders in your Personal Filing Cabinet like it has been since the beginning of AOL - yes I have been a paying member since the day it started and with Gold can no longer save the individual folders in the Mail to another location like a DVD or memory stick. These folders get way too big and non-manageable over time
If you right click on a saved mail folder now in Gold it says :"Save Folder As" - like it always has - but when you click on it nothing happens.

Buttons are too close to the sliding/scroll bar
Member is having a hard time with navigating through the email window because the scroll bar is way too close to the buttons. As a consequence, the Report Spam button is occasionally activated and in one case caused the member to be unsubscribed to an organization in which he is on the Steering Committee.

MOVE EMAILs from SPAM/TRASH to AOL/Local folders.
Like the Android AOL App, I'd like to: MOVE emails from Spam or Trash to local or AOL folders.
ON desktop GOLD, I can MOVE ONLY from my INBOX to AOL folders, meaning that any files in SPAM and TRASH must be first moved from there to the INBOX then to a folder I want them in.
If the Android APP can, why can't GOLD?
