  1. Mark emails as being read within your file structure after you actually open them up and read them!

    When I see an email in my Inbox, and move it to an email folder of some kind, then click on and open up the email to read it, and then back out - the email still stays bold, without the red "checkmark" on it, and there is NO indication that it has been read. The system always worked the way I just described, but changed today (7/15/20) and no longer works the way it has for years. Whenever one clicks on a "bolded" new email to read it, it should always change state and become unbolded so that one…

  5. Go back to AOL 9 when it used to work good

    I am having a problem with pictures sent to me. I no longer can see them in my emails. I now have to download everyone without seeing them. Where I used to only have one download window to close for 5 pictures I now have to close five. Get this fixed I'm paying for my AOL and this needs to be fixed!!!!!! Or I will be leaving Aol you have ruined it in so many ways I have been a user since 1998 and Aol Gold STINKS!!!!!!!!

    Manage Folders is not working. I have attempted to delete some older ones and tried adding new ones to no avail. Other options such as "move folder" do not work either.

    Email is not working. They say customer support is available to paid subscribers 25/7. I call & get no answer. They say chat is not available due to corona. What about social distance requirements would be a problem with having a chat representative available. It's just an excuse for AOL's terrible service. Why am I paying $18/mo for AOL? Guess I'm stupid, but no more. Time to cancel after 35 years.

  10. Emails take forever to receive. I will have someone tell me they just sent me an email and it takes maybe an hour or more to get it.

    Emails take forever to receive. I will have someone tell me they just sent me an email but I might not receive it for hours. And I'm not getting emails from people that are in my address book or replies to emails I have sent to them. WTF is up with AOL. Ever since net neutrality was blown out of the water, the service has deteriorated completely and we pay for it.

  11. fix the mail

    fix the mail so I don't have to keep deleting the mail.I just here and deleted mail that I had permanently deleted a month ago. This happens all the time I can delete mail and days later the same mail is back up again.

    We can delete all spams with one click but can not do that for our regular email...which is a pain...BUT when you delete them and only find them to reappear...now that's really a pain in the #$%*&...

  13. Over 50 people reported they cannot put their signature at end of E Mails!

    How do you get AOL GOLD to PRINT your signature at bottom of E Mails? I have a "saved signature" and did all the right steps, but HOW do you get that signature to print out on the E Mails. Many people have written in on this...that AOL Gold is lacking the ability to do this!

    When I log on, all my emails are gone. Yesterday a message from AOL told me steps to get them back.....I HAD to include my mobile number. WHY?? Within hours I started receiving phone calls and the caller ID showed MY name and MY mobile phone number. In other words I was calling myself. This had NEVER happened before I had to post it on your website. WHY?? You should act on all the messages you get about how frustrating AOL GOLD is. I have paid for AOL for so many years...and was pleased with it UNTIL you came up…

    Often now getting "wait 5 minutes" notice; other options, like address book are not available. Have used AOL over 20 years, but you are going to lose me if this continues.

  20. Emails: Personal File Cabinet Folders Disappeared! HELP!

    PFC folders: a random selection of about half of my AOL GOLD email folders mysteriously disappeared. The AOL Service Technician advised "not stored anywhere; no way to retrieve". How can this be possible?!
    I lost dozens of old emails with critical information.
    Per an Internet search, this has happened to others within the past 6 months, and has been reported to AOL by others.

    Have the emails simply vanished? They never even turned up in my trash. I want them back!!
