When saving an email to a folder, you used to get a confirmation popup box so you knew it had been filed successfully, to the folder you wanted it to go to. As of today, 7/21/20,you no longer get that popup. Please put it back.

Why Doesn't AOL have available Read Receipts for emails we send??? I HAVE BEEN AN AOL CUSTOMER FOR 24 YEARS NOW!!!!!!!!!! People make fun of me that I still keep it! But it would mean that I change EVERY account I have linked to this email address, etc and it is a huge hassle to do so. PLEASE ENABLE THIS FEATURE!!!!!!!! IT WOULD GAIN AOL NEW CUSTOMERS.

AOL Desk top Gold should add more options for different Font signatures. AOL Desk top Gold only list a hand full of fonts to select. The Legacy AOL had a hundred fonts to choose from for your signature.

Where are Saved Emails Stored on my PC with Older Versions of AOL Desktop (before AOL Desktop Gold) and transferring those emails to new PC
Go to:
C: Drive / Program Data / AOL 9.8.2 (or another version you may have used)/ organizeIn the Organize folder find the file with:
“your AOL email screen name” with no file extension
Rename that file adding the extension: .pfcIn your current AOL Desktop Gold software. Go to Edit / General Settings / My Data / Import from Older AOL Files / PFC Import
Now search for the .pfc file you just renamed, and import that file
Close and Restart AOL Desktop Gold and Hopefully you will see all of your previously saved folders and AOL emails…

AOL has finally convinced me to find another email system. Your latest update where my minimized emails automatically pop up after sending or closing another email makes it so that it takes way more of my time than I have for answering emails. picture editing options
Will you PLEASE fix the picture editing options in email. Except for rare occasions when it's available, there is generally no way to access it. It used to be a simple right click.
This is ridiculous. AOL worked better when it was free. I've been waiting years for you to fix it.... so JUST ]FIX IT before I move my mail to another server and delete the entire app!

Please develop a way to copy a mail folder to a thumbdrive. I assume it would have to be encrypted and then unencrypted.
Develop a way to copy individual AOL mail or an AOL mail folder to a thumbdrive. I assume it would be encrypted somehow for AOL only when it is saved. But, then an AOL unencryption program or another AOL Gold Program could read it from the thumbdrive.

Is there a way to consolidate similar mail folders as subfolders inside other folders. Better organization. Like Outlook.
It seems like there should be an ability to consolidate similar mail folders as sub-folders inside main folders. This will allow for a more efficient organization with respect to the mail folders. For example, If i have a College Folder, I should be able to create sub-folders like 2019, 2020, and then break those down to something like History 101, Math 120, etc.... This would be similar to what MS Outlook allows you to do.

blocking emails from "host" server
would be helpful if you could get a program written to block email that are coming with the designated server as "host" - i don't have any of my email contacts coming from "host" = they are simply coming from commercial entities that i do not need in my emails

emoji idea
I've written this idea before and have not seen a response. On most devices that offer wmoji's, it does not close the window when you select the emoji. I often like to insert several at a time. Could you please leave the emoji box open until I'm finished selecting emoji's?
Also, I would really be a good thing if when I select, "Mark as Unread" you would let the text go to bold again. This way I can see which emails I've marked to reply or deal with at a later date.

Can Music to an AOL email or AOL mail attachment that play when it is open by recipient
To me, I think we need a way to Add Background Songs or music to email to play when the recipient opens his or her AOL email attachment note or letter. If it can be done AOL--Gold help desk live support just said cannot be done. I do not know how or if it can be done. But sure is a great idea. Thank you.

AOL needs to modify its policy on the BULK / BCC e-mail problem!Those users that are in organizations versus (business or solicitation) require to have free access to sending e-mails to their supporters, members and community colleagues.When the pre-GOLD AOL was in use, there was the ability to send out e-mails to organizations with out silent messages, suspicious activities or change password threats - this is NOT relevant to AOL customers that have used the AOL system for many years - and may have to think about changing to another ISP that doesn't cause such disruption.You should institute a waiver…

Hi - I would like it if you could block emails with certain words in them.
Please allow us to block emails with certain words in them. I get about 20 emails a day that are spa but I can't block them with keywords. The email addresses with todays tech have about 20 different character combos so you can't effectively block them by selecting just the email address.
