Mail problems and This Feedback method and total lack of easy support SUCKS!!!!
Since downloading AOL Gold when I had to reset my computer, it does't work right. Sometimes Sent or New mail doesn't show for hours!! Very frustrated!!! And now I have to sign in when I'm already signed in??? Really?!!! And forcing me to sign in on a Voice thingy sucks too. I've been with you since the 80's and am about to stop... what happened to "service"????

Email groups missing
I just spent about 90 minutes with AOL tech support to try and fix why all of my email address groups disappeared. I tried to add a new group and AOL had a glitch and logged out. When I logged back in all of my email address groups were missing. I was told by tech support that they could not back up my address groups. I have maybe 60 different groups so I told them I was not a happy camper. Has anyone else had this issue? The tech support guy even installed a newer version of AOL Desktop Gold…

User defined and stored email history
Make a way to Save any number of past emails in large blocks (user selectable) anywhere from a single day or up to a year or more into a single file that contains categories of (sender) (recipients) (copies to) (blind copies to) (timestamp) (sent or received) (attachments) and (text body within the email), that can be stored on the users hard drive and searched WITHOUT having to go online. email problems
Since update with gold bar added-it is a pain and the sorting from or date order wont go to the top it seems to get stuck wherever the blue/gold bar was last...Very hard to navigate and we pay for this over 20 years please fix....
And the automatic e-mail saver to sent does not work anymore, and the auto populated one only works someones now when u are sending an email -

Favorites Quick Find Field
As soon as you type a character in the the Favorites Quick Find field, an "X" appears in the right-most position. This allows for a quick clearing of the field when your search is finished. This feature is also part of the Search field of Feedback where I am typing now.
Please add this feature to the mail Quick Find field.

The new Star on the right side of the screen that shows up when you are reading an email, prevents you from accessing the bottom of emails.
please get rid of the star on the right side of the screen when you are reading emails. It prevents you from seeing the bottom of the email and saving it, deleting it etc. It is very annoying!

Buttons at bottom of each piece of e-mail -- SAVE, MARK UNREAD, or DELETE -- have become obscured by AOL upgrade.
Since the recent upgrade, the size of opened e-mails is slightly larger. This obscures the SAVED, MARK UNREAD, OR DELETE buttons at the bottom of each piece of mail. I have to use a work-around -- an extra step or 2, which is time-consuming -- to designate how each piece of mail should be handled (SAVE, MARK UNREAD, OR DELETE). I agree with other users that the new orange highlighting of mail is, at best, unnecessary and, at worst, annoying. The ineptitude of AOL never ceases to amaze.

setting bcc, cc etc to send email
sending mail bcc , cc etc you have to go the bottom of the screen for each one. The old way was faster it was right by the name. Please reinstate the old way or make us able to reinstate it using settings.

quickbooks compatibility
I cannot send reports out of Quickbooks with AOL because of some security issue. Can you fix this or tell me how. Quickbooks thinks AOL is not secure but it will allow me to send reports through GMAIL. If you do not fix this I will have to switch to GMAIL.

Spell check
Once again I would like to ask if you can possible make the mail program at least as responsive at version 9 was! It is ridicules that you cannot click on Skip all if there are proper names or words you want to use that are not in the spell check library. It is even more ridicules that you must go over the entire email every time you click on Spell Check if you just want to correct one word or start from a specific place and not have to go through the whole email. away message text format does not allow spaces nor enter
When typing an "away message" it does not allow spaces nor enter at the end of a sentance. It appears as if it is a run on sentance

I can not forward with these type of attachments - 69.9 KB image002.png or image001.png (6.6KB) also winmail.dat (111.4KB)
we should be able to forward anything that we can receive, We pay for AOL and almost no one does that and they have better capabilities on free e-mail accounts such as outlook, gmail, yahoo etc

The ability to mark emails with a color.
If I could mark some of my emails with a color, they would be easier to locate and would also remind me about important emails. This color would go all the way across the strip describing the email ( Date, From, Subject ) so it would stand out. Basic colors could be Red for important. Yellow for something to be aware of. Green for a good one. Or you could make up your own color scheme.
