When saving an email to a folder, you used to get a confirmation popup box so you knew it had been filed successfully, to the folder you wanted it to go to. As of today, 7/21/20,you no longer get that popup. Please put it back.

Where are Saved Emails Stored on my PC with Older Versions of AOL Desktop (before AOL Desktop Gold) and transferring those emails to new PC
Go to:
C: Drive / Program Data / AOL 9.8.2 (or another version you may have used)/ organizeIn the Organize folder find the file with:
“your AOL email screen name” with no file extension
Rename that file adding the extension: .pfcIn your current AOL Desktop Gold software. Go to Edit / General Settings / My Data / Import from Older AOL Files / PFC Import
Now search for the .pfc file you just renamed, and import that file
Close and Restart AOL Desktop Gold and Hopefully you will see all of your previously saved folders and AOL emails…

picture editing options
Will you PLEASE fix the picture editing options in email. Except for rare occasions when it's available, there is generally no way to access it. It used to be a simple right click.
This is ridiculous. AOL worked better when it was free. I've been waiting years for you to fix it.... so JUST ]FIX IT before I move my mail to another server and delete the entire app!

Please develop a way to copy a mail folder to a thumbdrive. I assume it would have to be encrypted and then unencrypted.
Develop a way to copy individual AOL mail or an AOL mail folder to a thumbdrive. I assume it would be encrypted somehow for AOL only when it is saved. But, then an AOL unencryption program or another AOL Gold Program could read it from the thumbdrive.

AOL MODIFY BCC / BULK MAIL FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS!
AOL needs to modify its policy on the BULK / BCC e-mail problem!Those users that are in organizations versus (business or solicitation) require to have free access to sending e-mails to their supporters, members and community colleagues.When the pre-GOLD AOL was in use, there was the ability to send out e-mails to organizations with out silent messages, suspicious activities or change password threats - this is NOT relevant to AOL customers that have used the AOL system for many years - and may have to think about changing to another ISP that doesn't cause such disruption.You should institute a waiver…

Buttons are too close to the sliding/scroll bar
Member is having a hard time with navigating through the email window because the scroll bar is way too close to the buttons. As a consequence, the Report Spam button is occasionally activated and in one case caused the member to be unsubscribed to an organization in which he is on the Steering Committee.

Highlite the folder name In AOL Gold left had folder list please.
When moving an email to a folder found in the left hand column of My Mail Folders of Desktop Gold, please highlite the folder name, just like you do with the mail move list that pops up on the right side and on AOL.com folder list.

Email flagging on the desktop gold version
Bring back email flagging. The mobile app does it and it should be synced to the desktop app.

Email "Saved on my PC".
PLEASE I ASK FOR THE 10th TIME....give us a side bar to quickly access the folder when we are saving an email to "Saved On My PC". I have hundreds of email folders saved on my PC. Having to hold the ARROW, at the bottom of the folder listing until you get to the folder you want is SO ANNOYING AND TIME CONSUMING.
There is a side bar when I am looking for a particular email in a folder in the Saved on my PC and that is productive...so please make it easier and productive to Save an Email to…

IMPROVEMENTS
The technician was very helpful ... however, the AOL GOLD system tends to freeze ... prevents you from doing work on many occasions and you must re-start your computer ... also, it ERRORS when you are sending BCC (bulk) e-mails to organizations and groups that before was much easier ... Spam is now controlled - if needed - from everyones computer, no need to have such restrictions! Thank You!P.S. Loyal customer since 2004!!N.B. Also, your images are not holding like they did previously?PPS Please Change Policy on BCC/Bulk so we can stay customer friendly!!

Unable tp print AOL Mail
Unable to print E Mail from new mail and those in folders, Have sent a "Bug" Report twice. No reply. I can print locally saved documents and mail from my G-Mail user ID so this must be an AOL Issue

EMAIL Options still missing important feature
When writing, or copying, text into an email. The option to INSERT a URL is present - BUT the option to REMOVE a URL is missing. It was in the pre-Gold AOL, but has been asked for many times, yet never replaced.
Sure, I can click "INSERT URL" and delete it.. But that's crude! and error-prone.
ALSO- when pasting words that contain a 'hidden' URL, the words are underlined and blue, but placing the cursor on them does NOT show what the underlying (hidden) URL is. Again, have to "INSERT URL" and read it... just crude again, and also error-prone.
