The new window with all the junque on it needs to be gone, get out and get back in, then the correct window show up.
Leave the old welcome window alone. They new one just has junque on it. Got to mess with something that is NOT broken.

Ads on Welcome page from things I have searched for Christmas
I have a major complaint, this has been going on for such a long time, but I have just about had it with ads hitting me in the face constantly, even when I was paying for your most expensive membership. On the Welcome page over to the right hand side, it constantly is showing me things I have searched, I know what I have searched, I dont need to be reminded, but this is the problem, we all have 7 email addresses on our accts, so I have one and my husband has another. This is the issue, I was…

Preferences for Welcome Screen and AOL Benefits
Suggesting that a possible selection in settings to disable the welcome screen appearing when signing in. I have defaulted to go directly to mail, however, there remains a default to the welcome screen in backdrop. This is rather annoying as I can still see it and my attention is then directed to the welcome screen to make an action to close it .
Another suggestion is that an alternative news source be available to AOL members to have a discounted subscription to CRTV.
This would allow members to customize their welcome screen to their preferences and would make the AOL… -

Please fix the feed!
Please be more discerning about what you place in the news feed. I'm less than 10 items in, and already (#7) is a story about Walmart store closings from at least 4 months ago. This is not news. Neither are the numerous photos of famous or semi-famous women with headlines about how skimpy or revealing their outfits are. This junk is just insulting our intelligence. Please make options available to simply get the news OR the gossipy stuff, or whatever else. I don't want to have 80+ stories in the feed when most of them are totally irrelevant!

mute/unmute browser tabs like other major vendors like Chrome, Firefox, etc. Especially annoying are the news feeds on Welcome Tab
Place Mute/Unmute option on Welcome Screen Tab so blaring audio from news feeds don't blast user out of his/her seat as is the case currently.

New display technique
I just wanted to express my strong dislike for the new method of displaying articles from the welcome screen articles. They now swoop up from the bottom and it is very disconcerting and annoying

ADG Welcome page overlay
Removing specific article or news from the welcome page overlay. The article is titled as "Amare 60" Wall-Mounted Single Bathroom Vanity Set with Mirror". The article would route me to a specific website when I clicked on it.

Whoever selects the news subjects and photos needs to grow up. I am sick to death of racy, raunchy pix of celebs in scanty clothing.
Stop the racy, raunchy photos and stories about publicity-hungry celebs in suggestive clothing and stupid situations described as "jaw-dropping.". Grow up! If I wanted such garbage, I'd subscribe to the Inquirer or some other filthy publication. I DON'T want to see it every time I turn on AOL. Do you hire only low-intelligence perverts and voyeurs?

Welcome page.
From now on, the very first thing I'm going to do when signing on is IMMEDIATELY close the welcome page. It has become nothing but ads and clickbait and links to "news" that are nothing more than clickbait, too.
OATH is a ***** company with a ***** product and once I am no longer stuck with having to use your piece of **** program, I'll be gone.
Y'all really, really ****.

Stop posting celebrities as being dead on your Welcome Pages to push advertising scams
Stop posting celebrities as being dead on your Welcome Pages to push advertising scams. This is incredibly irresponsible, and using a known person for this should be illegal!

Goverment pages on Welcome screen are just WRONG. On all levels
So now AOL FORCES me to read government information about voting? Because YOU think that's important? And I can't go back or get rid of the page without signing on again? How 1984 of you! If you want to be in my home that much, send one of your tech people (you know from another country) to clean my apartment because you DO NOT have the right to interject your values into my life. I will now use another site. Buh bye
