browser home and email format
the new home screne is not as user friendly as the last version and it seems to be resembling microsoft edge and with that i have to ask myself why stay with aol if its going to be just like edge.....change it back

Allow floating windows
The browser is trying to be more than it is by masking itself as a separate desktop. Don't do this, use modules and instances instead. Have a main browser and when you click an item have it open a new module for that app that can float and be moved wherever on the screen, do not constrain only to the browser window.

Fix AOL Gold for paying customers.
When sending email's or attachments I get Bad request then another screen with a 1400 code.This is on AOL Gold.Iv e called numerous times with no help.Ongoing for a few weeks.I even called AOL corp escalations in NYC with no response..I will have no choice but report this to the NY Public service commission since Iam paying for this service.I cant even send a Bug report it wont go thru.

FIX THE BROWSER U CHANGED TO YAHOO
WHAT HAVE U DONE TO AOL--U REALLY MESSED IT UP by changing it to Yahoo!! Besides the invalid personal search list that shows, which people are complaining about (uselessly) one cannot just enter a company name followed by .com--it doesn't GO there BUT I can do it on MS Edge!! Are we now supposed to enter a web address the Old Way, with htpp, etc? Also, find that I'll type a name in the bar and it screws up the spelling to a non-existent site. SO SAD--I always LOVED AOL before!!

RETHINK "NEW" BROWSER FUNCTIONALITY/FEATURE RE. FALSE HISTORY
Desktop Gold Team responded to my issue: Browser/address bar down arrow shows "Search" of sites I NEVER/WOULD search. Told it's a 'new functionality' just released--recent history will show 'the top trending searches from AOL search'--how many searches to an Indiana Funeral Home could warrant it listed in 'top trending searches?' Said 'This is a common feature that all mainstream browsers do.' Really? Why doesn't Microsoft Edge or Google do that--not "mainstream." browsers'? This "feature" could result in someone becoming a suspect in a Crime Investigation or a child/wife/husband wrongly accused of (whatever) because AOL has a "new functionality" that shows…

The auto suggestion on the address bar sucks.
Leave it as it was--don't want it showing names, topics, etc, that I never searched or care about in my browser!!! Use & PAY for AOL Desktop Gold--!! Don't need to pay for aggravation or for my computer to show places I've never searched!!

Put auto-fill for URLs the way it was before
Formerly if you just typed the first letter in the URL field the last used would fill in....that was convenient....no more!

Suppose you had one or more window tabs open on the aol desktop. It used to be that when you would click the "welcome" tab, the space in which to type a new URL was blank. This is no longer the case. The AOL software would only try to "guess" previously used URLs when I started typing in the URL space. It would really be nice to have the software work this way again, because the software currently automatically puts an already used URL in the URL space, which can be very distracting.
