  1. PLEASE PUT YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS FIRST FOR ONCE (AFTER YOUR 35 YRS ONLINE)

    Hello. I've been with AOL SINCE 2003. Yes, over -17 years- now. Why do I put up with all the service issues, advertisements, SPAM, lost benefits, and wasted time and money?? Because AOL holds all my folders ******* that I've created since 2003 that contain many emails I want and need to save.

  2. Use an alternative method of verification besides a text message.

    For account verification you use texting. There are still people who use landlines. I had to call someone I know who has a cellphone, have the verification number sent to them, and have them call me so I could verify. Ridiculous.

  3. Account Verification - Too Long

    ACCOUNT VERIFICATION –

    The account verification process on phone calls is too long and cumbersome. Some customers, including me, do not have the phone options required to process verification. Surely, AOL can simplify this verification process.

    I have been a paying user for above 20 years, and Gold is the worse yet! It is too cumbersome to sign into, it is slow, regardless of the speed of my CPU or Internet. I like using AOL because I use it for business purposes, and most people I deal with are surprised that I still use AOL when there are sites that offer free email. Please AOL address the issues that are being posted by other users because I agree with everyone of the ones that I read. If these issues are not cleared up, I will soon…

  5. AOL processes are not user-friendly and had regressed over the years!

    I updated my billing information by adding a new card. AOL System however will not allow me to delete my old credit card which I was able to do in the past and I have been a user of over 25 years! Deleting the old credit card required calling AOL HELP and waiting for 20 minutes before getting the needed assistance and then I am subjected to the litany of question supposedly for account verification which is a facade. If I already provided the code, why do I have to be subjected to 5 more questions about my account!!.

  8. I must be able to edit my birthdate since you system has the wrong birthdate.

    My birthdate is wrong in your system. There has to be a way to edit my birthdate otherwise you are telling the state, hospital, FBI, Social Security, US Navy, US Army and VA are all a bunch of liars which you would be including my parents and the newspaper that reported my birthdate. Do not tell me you can not change it as I have been to computer programming school and I was taught that all information is not "set in concrete".

    Please create a Kids only page again. Back in 2003-2007 AOL had a KOL account for kids and teens on the AOL gold desktop. Bring back Radio KOL this format would be talk show.

  10. Why force users to update passwords?

    Why force AOL users to update passwords when we don't want to?

    It is OK to remind users that there are some advantages in updating passwords, but requiring password updates on AOL's schedule is a **** NUISANCE!

  12. When Your Tech support

    Asking for a phone number by itself is not a verification. An unauthorized person can give their phone number and if this is not checked by the agent against the known number for the authorized person anyone can be authenticated.
    All agents that request a phone number for a final ID verification need to know the phone number of the individual calling before they ask.

    I haVE been with AOL sense they opened . . .Im sorry to say, maybe time to move on , you can the gold package ETC> Horrid customer service. If any one look you would see that I have a hacker. A new debit card everyt 3 weeks.
