Background color changing
Allow for "night mode" on AOL Desktop Gold, had eye surgery and its hard to see the black font against white background. I wish there was a way to change the colors so I can view and see better.

The notifications from news article comments are not working. When someone answers my comment there is not notification. The list under the notification bell is not listing the comment answer

AOL...think about this.......
I have been a paying member since 1999 and have seen many changes in AOL through the upgrades. the Gold Version is by far the worst created!!! Many thinkgs in 9.8 were very good for the members but you have changed or deleted them. It used to be fun to get online but you've changed all that.... It seems instead of listening to your members you've become ore interested in catering to advertisements! What will you do when your members are gone??? Have you checked the chat rooms lately? I remember when most were filled with 20 / 25 people…

Free AOL Desktop Gold
This is not an idea, but a frustrating feedback! Seemingly without notice my "free" AOL Desktop Gold became unusable. Contacted AOL a couple of times with no real "solutions." Then last evening noticed that there is "no more free AOL Gold." Except the approach to continue with AOL Mail, all else is via paid membership. All this happened with no alerts or prior notice of this significant impending change! Not good customer service!

Replace or Improve Desktop Gold
I just got off the phone with Tech Support, and they had to uninstall and then reinstall your HORRIBLE Desktop Gold platform once again since it would freeze up and stop working after I was using it after a few hours every single time. What a waste of my time, and it costs AOL lots of money having their tech support team deal with the endless problems with the platform that its users encounter.
Desktop Gold is hated by everyone, and is the worst platform that AOL has over had, yet you refuse to improve it, or better yet, replace…
