Why do we have to suffer INCESSANT DOWNLOADING of AOL?????????????????
WHY NOT LIMIT YOUR INCESSANT UPGRADE DOWNLOADS TO LATE NIGHT PACKETS OR ZIP FILES ONLY ON SUNDAY NIGHTS!!! You're eating my bandwidth and causing other critical programs to falter or totally fail to load, such as critical weather alerts and radar!!!!!!!

AOL - Create A One page only sign on screen
Set up a single (yes, just one and ONLY one) page sign on screen.
Currently, there is a maximum of seven possible sign on ID's for an account.
Also, asking for an agreement to terms of service each time a feedback is written is unnecessary. I believe that just using aol is an affirmation to accepting TOS every time aol is accessed by a user.
List them vertically, all on one single page. Yes, they will all fit. Pair each one with a blank box underneath the supplied Sign on ID, to allow entry of the password that matches that…

In earlier versions I could block erase my email. It saved me a lot of time. Now I can only erase one at a time and it's so slow.

THE FINAL STRAW !!!!
the new policy agreement that all users will be forced to sign is just another slap in the face for all loyal AOL paid subscribers - after 20 years of paying i + all my family member will be cutting all ties with AOL , Yahoo , + Verizon - totally biased , inaccurate , + unreliable companies trying to control users - as if the Gold ongoing problems are not enough !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - VERY FRUSTRATING -

WHAT HAPPENED TO AOL? Tim Armstrong happened. Get new leadership!
OK, we know AOL got sold to Oath and Verizon et al., for $6 Billion in cash, and in the process came up with a new version of AOL called Gold and discontinued Instant Messaging, any Free version of AOL and charging for basic use. But after months of the new operation AOL continues to be replete with problems and user complaints in almost every facet of its operation from faulty features to irresponsible and inexperienced techs now reduced to no more then paid excuse makers. We are now left to assume that Operations VP Marni Walden and AOL CEO…

The intro above stopped me from completing the statement of the problem. I received over 240 e-mails from "AOL Support Help" after completing a survey about installation of AOL Gold. I discovered these only later in the day. They came in at the rate of 10 per minute at 5 minute intervals. This was documented with your Tech person, Raven, 57101084, who has stopped the flow by blocking my e-mail to your "AOL Support Help" from which the e-mails came. It is now over one hour since he and I concluded the conversation, and no more show in my inbox,…

hilite the folder your dropping file too
its too 'plain and ancient' to not highlite the folder youre pointing to..
also.. restore all the functionality of the old desktop for setting icons or just text. cant find that ..
all you needed to do was clean up the old interface and keep all the functions. im likely to drop gold and use the plain interface.. not that impressed ESPECIALLY charging to drop those intrusive adverts.
i think aol is shooting itself in its foot.. and losing the respect it eventually eared with the old desktop

Somebody call Consumer Hotline - Multiple Clicks to Open Mail, Search Mail that doesn't work
We deserve better than this, with NO improvement for 4 1/2 months, Like the attorney that complains about multiple clicks, I'm a businessman, and I have to make same to open mail, switch between mail, and search mail. It's a waste of time. Verizon is one of the biggest communication companies - why would they abandon longtime AOL users like this, not make changes in 4 1/2 months, and send us to foreign lands for customer support? Wake up!
