I want to see the normal AOL hommepage when I sign on, not a page with two pictures and audio from the second picture.

Eliminate the redundant, second popup for changing screen names
Changing screen names keeps changing itself. The old way was much simpler, and actually worked. Now there is a second popup, showing the screen name to be changed to, that ALREADY WAS INPUT. Please eliminate this redundant popup, and go straight to the password input popup. Also, placing the cursor in the input box would be helpful, too. Thank you.

filing emails on AOL problem since you switched to AOL Gold
When you switched over to AOL Gold...you disabled a very useful tool. When saving an email to a file on AOL..when you right click on the email, then choose AOL..and here is where the problems occurs....you used to be able to type in the first letter of the folder and it would jump to the folders that begin with that letter...since you switched to Gold now you have to scroll through the alphabet to get to the first letter of the folder you want to store the email in. This is time consuming and it is inferior to the old…

Still having problems with the Address Book.
Please do not mark this as "Duplicate" and forget about it -- Fix it! I have talked to your tech support numerous times. We run a small business. Most of our email addresses are listed as City, ST. So I type City, ST in the box for First Name. This worked perfectly in 9.8.2. Now, it often shows up as City. Someone from tech support suggested I make the changes in my contact list on mail.aol.com and they would keep. I did that. Now ALL the ones I changed show up as City. This adds to my workload to change…

Your status page on this site never changes. Under "Planned" you have the number 8. It has been at 8 for months. So you've done nothing in all this time with the 8 items you planned to fix?? The numbers in other categories barely change.

1761 brings back "Re-enter password" after sleeping
was happening several releases ago, got fixed, now broke again.
When Windows goes into sleep mode, upon wakening - AOL requires password again - EVEN THOUGH on my desktop, it is remembered!! (i.e. not needed to log on)

Incorporate old features from blue AOL to GOLD
Please put the features of the blue AOL On GOLD. The subjec tline font should match the font for the body of the email.

Here are some errors or changes that we would like to be made to AOL Gold. Most of these features were common in older AOL versions
- Right-click and select "ignore" to send an email to "Old" mail.
- Print date and web address at the bottom of printed material.
- Fix the speed of the text to keep up with typing speed when composing emails.
- Eliminate the nearly 100 spam emails daily. (some are vulgar and offensive)
- Graphics cannot be seen in new emails. (Only get a long coded number instead.)
- The ability to create and save font colors for emails and future use.
- Stabilize playing of videos that start and stop every few seconds.
- Make it possible for the website address in the address box at the top…

Desk Top Software
Your desktop software is too large a program with too many things running in the background. I travel and have weak wifi at times. The program barely functions. Also the home screen takes up too much room top to bottom for my lap top. I can't access the bottom of the email page to download attachments, save or delete.
