Midis don't play on this browser.
They play in Internet Explorer. Please fix this. I have tried several different midi codes to no avail. For this and for other reasons I have been using Internet Explorer as my browser. Also, when I right click on properties on a graphic all I get is the name of the file. Internet Explorer shows a lot more info thn that. This is a horrible browser.

Put it back to the way it was on AOL 9.8 where you click the email envelope which automatically attaches the attachment to a new email. If you could do it before why not with the new AOL Gold.

NO UPDATE FILE FOR 1630
THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN AND I CAN'T FIND THE 1630 UPDATE
If the version is lower than 11.0.1630, keep the AOL Desktop signed in for at least 20 minutes then close and reopen the software. The update should automatically upload.

You want to improve "gold"? Start over cause it ain't working
What has happened. Now when I sigh on, there is NO option for a screen name and when I tried to open an email, it took over 6 minutes and it still was not open. I gave up trying after that. You "fix" one thing and break 5 others.

Ignore causes chat to lock up
If I do not have to ignore anyone, chat works great. If I put people on ignore, after 1/2 to 1 hour, you cannot post anymore. You have to exit the chat room and go back in and reset all the ignores all over again. WHEN ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO PUT SOME ATTENTION ON THE CHAT COMMUNITIES? How about fixing it so it doesn't lock up like this? How about sorting the membership list?
In January I told AOL they better have some significant changes in the software or I will be gone in March. Here March is out…

Quit changing my file type associations
AOL continually changes the file type associations on my PC. Quit doing that!!!! I have to test in all browsers and have these file type associations interferes with my work. AOL is not the only browser people use. There is no need to force people into AOL when they click on a html file. Very poor quality programming if you can't offer an option to opt out of this feature!

BRING BACK MY PERSONAL FOLDERS
I tried the "Import Wizard" and it did not work. A warning should have been issued that one would lose their personal saved mail from 9.8 after going to gold. The program should be called fools gold. The damage done by AOL is irreparable. I hope you find a way for us to retrieve our personal valuable saved personal email..

Fix all of the hang ups. I have been waiting to save a change on my mailing list for the last 10 minutes.
I made a change on someone my mailing list. I hit save, and I am now waiting for over 10 minutes for it to be saved. This is a constant problem all over your system since Gold was initiated. Maybe you ought to give us a 50% refund for such poor service.

Product Support answer
I received and an answer from Product Support on how to see if I have the latest version of AOL GOLD . He suggested I go to the Help button on the top right corner of the window & select "About AOL" on the drop down menu. And in the middle of the "About AOL Window", you'll see the version you have installed. However, there is NO "About AOL" when I tried to get there????

Everything Needs to be Fixed!
My idea is to go back to 9.8! I would say that one out of two emails I send, actually send twice...the person receiving gets two identical emails instead of one. And I'm on the receiving end of many duplicate emails. It's time consuming and tiresome!

keeps getting worse
Not only won't it open it's own pages, it won't open pages that I have saved in My Favorites. How can anyone launch something of this poor quality, and then ask people to pay for it??? And don't even try to open AOL Weather. I've closed this down only to find it still running a half a gig of memory with nothing running.......WTH??? I'm getting tired of having to shut everything down, REBOOT the whole computer and starting over....off to see if AOL Shield will work on anything.....

The cursor is still defaulting to the body of the email and not the To line.
