After approximately 30 of using AOL mail, the service now will not open a template of the correct size for composing email.
This is not feedback, it is an alert to a major flaw in the email template

window in "Write" email no longer is functioning as it should
The "write" window's text (at my normal size: Tahoma 12pt is no longer readable. the text is tiny and so is the preassigned text in the write window itself and nothing the AOL remote technician has been able to help. She wanted me to change the size/resolution of my computer screen, but I do not want to -- because it is at it's recommended settings

Please add a search bar for finding folders
It is difficult to search for a specific folder and it would be useful to have a search bar for this.

Fix news tabs, no url address, improve urls address on the drop down menu right click mouse is none.
Fix all you need to improve, do not ignore customers reports, and AOL will have customers happy.

Pause automatic advancement of news items.
For many years, once you started advancing news items, the automatic advance of news items stopped. Now, I have been told by AOL Assist, that per software changes by AOL automatic advance of new items is always on. This means that, once I select and read an article, the news items have advanced several stories past it, meaning that I have to manually backspace to get back to the next item after the one I was reading. Why are you making this harder to do, please change back to a more user friendly application.

Welcome window "News" window keeps moving when paging throuugh articles
The News window now has been changed to a smaller size and keeps moving when paging through the news articles so as to hit ads all the time. Very clever idea..NOT. Now have watch the arrows or you hit ads..Why this change? Please change back to original News window so it doesn't move around in the Welcome window.

SPAM
You provide nice ability to direct designated Emails to Spam. Why not provide an option to automatically delete it. I get as many as 60 a day from a known Addresses, but now I have to scan Spam just in case something I want to see is imbedded among the known to be Spam. If you are staying on Windows 7, do NOT reinstall Windows unless you want to go through the hassle of copying system files.
I have a few Win7 computers and noticed that when I did a fresh install on one of them I could no longer download AOL Desktop Gold. It gave a "download error". I called tech support and they said Windows 7 is no longer supported, which is silly. Windows 7 still works perfectly.
I had to take the installation files and Program Files folders and copy them from another computer to make it work. 11.0.4125 is the…

disable welcome screen
In either General or Browser settings, provide an option to disable the Welcome Screen. It is a memory hog and cause AOL Desktop Gold to freeze or randomly lock up.

AOL's email ***** up
Your new app for phones is disgusting. Go back to the old app that does not lead the person a news feed and other ****. When someone is on their phone they wish to check their email, not see your news feeds. Or at least on the new app give the user the ability to direct the opening page so they don't have to go through the news page. I know that it is probably a money making issue for AOL but please have some concern for the folks that use the app.

Please explain to me what is wrong with responding to someone saying that Hamas is going to Heaven, by replying "To meet their mail virgins for the men", or "To meet men who haven't had sex for the men". Both of these are rejected and do not harm anyone in the community or the readers. This is becoming unamerican and, even though you are private company, you cannot violate the rights of citizens to speak when it's not harmful. I feel a class action lawsuit coming.

The updated revision of AOL has some terrible changes
When responding to an email the FONT is NOT CLEAR like before ...
It is NOT the FONT that I choose to reply....
The Tech stated that it was changed by the UPDATE ....
This is NOT satisfactory and needs to be reversed to a clearer FONT.In addition .... when deleting an email the response is another windows asking if I want to delete the the email ..... THIS IS REDUNDANT .....

SPAM folder improvement!
Indicate how many emails are in the SPAM folder. Would prevent the user from having to constantly check the SPAM folder for content!

lmprovements needed in steps to clear out old messages
1) I have too many saved messages in my Old and Sent Folders.
2) The first improvement is to give AOL customers the option to sort by To/From and within that grouping by DATE
3) The second improvement is to allow AOL customers to go back to where they were in the list of messages under review-NOT THE TOP of the List.What will it take for AOL to make these improvements?
