3. AOL - Create A One page only sign on screen

   Set up a single (yes, just one and ONLY one) page sign on screen.

   Currently, there is a maximum of seven possible sign on ID's for an account.

   Also, asking for an agreement to terms of service each time a feedback is written is unnecessary. I believe that just using aol is an affirmation to accepting TOS every time aol is accessed by a user.

   List them vertically, all on one single page. Yes, they will all fit. Pair each one with a blank box underneath the supplied Sign on ID, to allow entry of the password that matches that sign on ID. The user will simply click into the desired empty box and enter the password that is paired with the ID the user wants to use for that session.

   If there is an ID/Password error, display an error message and place the cursor back into the box that was just used and allow the user to reenter to correct or tab to a different ID/Password box to try again with a different combination.

   The number of emails waiting can be listed in front of each ID in the list, giving the user the option to sign on to an account that has mail waiting to be read.

   This is a SINGLE sign on screen. None of the current multiple clicking, and changing screens just to sign in. More information is presented to the user on this one screen than is currently available on the joke that is the current sign on procedure.

   I designed computer systems for a living for thirty years. This type of task would have been assigned in my early programming classes in college. Why this is so difficult for your professional programmers to get right is puzzling me beyond words. If they can't (or worse, won't) do this, FIRE THEM and get some competent programmers on your staff. This is unforgivable what you are doing to your users with incompetent staff on board.

   Also, releasing updates without thorough testing (Yes, that is is so obvious) is something that would cause the firing of a programmer from my staff. Why not yours???

   You owe your users an explanation and apology!!!

6. I want to see an AOL that really works.

   I keep waiting for this amazing "GOLD" to be the solution to everything and have been patient ... yet, it's taking forever and is very unsatisfying. the LATEST has been any emojis or emoticons in emails i receive are merely letters - i.e., - \uD83D\uDE18\uD83E\uDD17 - what is THAT? then sometimes my emails freeze while i'm composing and go black. and i have to control/alt/delete to get things to start up again. i'd like to be able to COMPRESS my mail again. I'd like to put my email screen names (5) in the order I want vs. alpha as you've decided. i'd like "live chat" people to remain in communication until i'm done asking questions. i'd like to, quite honestly, go back to previous versions before alleged "improvements" were made but not "really' ready to roll out and we, the PAYING CUSTOMERS, are held captive between a rock and a hard place ... OR stand on the precipice of jumping ship ... Gmail's looking might good lately.

7. Review your features before you allow them to post on the Welcome Screen

   Please, please consider reviewing some of the items featured in your WELCOME screen before you allow the vendor to post. Frequently items which purport to be fact are either poorly researched or simply fiction. Many are poorly written. For example, today 3/24/2018 you had a feature that allegedly ranked US Presidents by intelligence. There was no indication who did the ranking or on what basis. The writing was appalling, noting, for example, that George Washington was the "first president of the free world". There were many, similar inanities indicating that the author clearly wasn't among the most intelligent anything.

   No wonder aol's gone out of business... and that's why you and I are having such great difficulity. Even spell check and full screen doesn't work anymore Chrome works the best and is the ONLY browser that allows me to see my Netflix and Hulu subscriptions. My best advice, instead of complaining to a brick wall, is to "Funk the Dumb stuff", (delicately put) and move on. Customer Service is at an ALL TIME LOW ! Forget trying to e mail them, (it NO longer exists), or for that matter trying to contact them by phone or what ever. With that being said, I'm guessing that since the impending doom of the former TWC, (Time Warner Cable Co.) which is now Spectrum, they've "Thrown-the-towel-in" and unbeknownst to you and me, will soon be in the headlines in National / International news which will announce that Aol has ceased operations as the original pioneers of the Internet as we now know it today.

   I've been a member since 1998 - 99 and I, (as we've both seen), their market share sink into oblivion despite FRANTIC advertising and worthless marketing endeavors.

   They've completely forgotten how to make their product WHOLE through customer service, satisfaction, and reliability.

   Fortunately for them, I'm available yesterday to correct this problem, (and I know their reading this as I type), I will Aol get back on the map but my fee FOR this CEO position will be something they probably wouldn't be able to afford, ($75-90,000 a year...HA!).

   God bless you Aol for your initial contribution and greatness back in the day, but those day's are LONG GONE should you decide not to contact me to straighten out the festering disintegration which so BADLY has destroyed a once loved corporation.

   Sorry to the reader...but I got off on a tangent and I apologize, but it kind of makes sense...Maybe not.

12. Top line - Edit - Find in Top Window .. Needs count

    When using the Find in Top Window (A VERY useful tool!)
    there is NO count of items found. When the searched for word is NOT in the top window, no indication is given (i.e. Not Found!) and when many are found, well same thing - no count..

13. Get rid of phone optimization.

    You optimized AOL Gold for phone use, and left us PC users to swing in the breeze. ALMOST NOTHING works with a keyboard. Ctrl+F4 doen't close a browser. Hitting enter on a highlighted email in the mailbox rarely if ever opens the email. FIX IT.

16. Please Add a "date" sort capability to Favorites list.

    Alphabetical only list of Favorites is awful. I don't know the name of some of them and CAN NOT FINE THE MOST RECENT ONES!!

    An AOL reply to a prior request for this was simply "NO. We are not going to do it! " So much for customer support. I am about to DUMP paid AOL over this.

18. Chat is not working, *again*. No feedback about the problem or when it might be resolved, *again*.

    AOL was more reliable as a free service. Stuff worked. There weren't these continuous outages that were met with evasions and non-answers (you're sorry for the problem but aren't doing jack to fix it.) There, done venting, since based on the contents of this page, it's obvious that it wont make any difference.
