Restore original AOL features and Upgrade Values of News Content
There are many issues that need to be addressed in AOL Gold and I have reached out many times to customer service. It takes 15 minutes for the program to let me sign in... My major complaint is the content in which AOL is reporting in the news feed. It is one step away from The Nat'l Enquirer. Celebrities who crave publicity and crooks who prey on children seem to spotlight the headlines. I won't bother mentioning politics since we all are aware of the bias...AOL used to give choices as to what news we need on a daily basis.…

After being a subscriber for over 25 years, I must say I am utterly disappointed that AOL has become so LIBERAL...it is one thing to lean left, but to provide statistics based on their opinion is not worthy of them. I only wish they would get back to reporting facts and at least, try to stay neutral politically....half the country is conservative, some how they cannot accept that FACT!!

Bad grammar, all the time
Your headline writers are illiterate. The latest bad joke says that some obscure actress was "hospitalized after being ran over." NO NO NO!! That's "after being RUN over." The vehicle ran over the actress. She was run over. Please hire writers who are fluent in English.
We apologize for the error. Our editors work very hard to catch mistakes before they hit the web. However, with all the content they regularly publish to the page, they do occasionally miss some. We are sorry that this one slipped through but we are very grateful to you for pointing it out to us.

A majority of your news, on your news feed, is click bait. Years ago you only had 8 pages, now you have 71! Get rid of the click bait!
It seems that ever Facebook is trying to eliminate/restrict click bait but AOL seems to be adding more of it daily. This, truly, doesn't speak well for AOL. or for how they consider the needs of their customers.

AOL News - New (terrible) format
Your not giving the full title of an article, just a partial title followed by.......in your new format for AOL News, is a terrible idea. I will not open any article that does not clearly state what the content is. This is bad for AOL and your advertisers a well.

Return to the old version of COMMENTS ON AN ARTICLE. When a person replies and you click on it it WILL NOT take you to the response.
Roll back the programming on being able to comment on articles. In the new version when someone replies and you click on the link it does not take you to the comment to respond. Instead it open the article and you have to click on show more replies in every section and begin searching for the comment. It is time consuming and tedious. Is is NOT USER FRIENDLY!

Teach your headline writers correct English
Lady Gaga did not "break her engagement from" whatshisname. She was engaged TO him and broke up WITH him. The purpose of prepositions is to indicate change, including direction and location. People travel TO a place, arrive AT a place, and leave the place (direct object, no preposition--unless the context is specifying a point of departure on a trip, for ex. "Our flight left from Chicago and landed in Dallas."). They are excited by (cause) or about (future event)--not "excited for" unless empathizing with another person ("You're engaged?! I'm so excited/happy for you!")

Don't expect anybody to read your news stories since you began truncating the headlines. Now no reason to click.
Go back to the old style. Make the headlines complete sentences so readers know what the story is about. I'm not going to waste my time clicking on stories now that you've truncated the headlines.
