make it easier to create a new folder under Folders
How do I create a new folder, the option in manage folders is grayed out even if I click on a folder.
To create a mail folder, first click on either ‘Saved on AOL’ or ‘Saved on My PC’ then from the ‘Manage Folders’ section select ‘Create Folder’.

Your online how to change password instructions are incorrect (No Account Security page/link-- it goes to Log In screen, without Change Password option).
I called for assistance, Tina asked more than 6 verification questions without starting pw change. I asked her to focus on resetting my password but she said more 'verification" was needed. When I did not have the last 4 digits of my credit card payment handy, she said I didn't know the answers so she couldn't reset the password. radio button missing on address book
radio button is missing when trying to edit contacts from the address book.
please put back the radio button to correct all email address's in my adress book .The radio button has been removed from the Address Card view. The ‘Primary E-Mail’ field will be the main email address that will show in your Address Book.

calendar
I couldnt get into my aol gold on my desktop for months. Now I cant open my calendar in the browser under my favorites in aol desktop gold. I would like some sore of compensation for my trouble.
Hi there, in case you are still experiencing issues accessing your AOL Calendar in AOL Desktop Gold, we recommend updating the favorite for the calendar. To do that type calendar.aol.com in the address box, and press Enter, and after the page has fully loaded, click on the heart icon on the top right corner of the web-page and select ‘Add to Favorites’. You can also add a shortcut for the AOL Calendar in the AOL Desktop Gold’s toolbar, by following these steps:
1. Sign in to AOL Desktop Gold.
2. Click the ‘Add a Fav’ icon from the Toolbar.
3. Type ‘Calendar’ into the Search for a shortcut box.
3. Left-click on the Calendar shortcut and select ‘Add to Toolbar’. -
Cannot Copy URL to EMAIL and Link Be Active When Clicked On By Receiver Of Email
Copy URL -- Place on Email to send -- the URL link does not show blue - you send email-- person getting it - still does not show blue link - just black -- clicks on URL to go to site-- NOTHING HAPPENS
You cannot copy and paste a URL onto an email and it be an active link when clicked on. If you copy and place on site as a blog it works fine. You have a problem when link copied and transferred to email-- NEEDS TO BE FIXED as this has been happening -- report it and it…To insert a hyperlink in your email, first open a Write mail window, then click on the “Insert/edit link” button below the subject line (next to the Picture button).

Next time you have an upgrade try not to have it affect access
A weeks ago on AOL a popup came up about an upgrade and I clicked it on and after that, I was not able to access AOL from the icon I have on my desktop. Your support team worked on this but when we kept trying to access it again from desktop again, it wasn't opening as it should
There was a Windows Update that caused an issue similar to this. This has been fixed in the latest AOL Desktop Gold update.

Show SECURITY status of my AOL GOLD!
My idea is to... HAVE THE DATE of updates, within where it says "You are up to date". I know I'm up to date, but don't know what or when the UPDATE was?

We purchased NordVPN from AOL. For months is opened via my Start Menu. NOW, it does not open and wants me to have an account--WHY

PayPal not working with AOL. Transactions do not complete.
PayPal does not work/complete transactions with AOL browser. Switched to EDGE and PayPal works fine. Need to fix AOL

Manage mail listings better.
Please fix the jumble where mail is listed. I am IT professional. You can do better. There is no way to correct the jumble except to exit AOL and restart. Crude programming.

FIX ADS COVERING THE "PEOPLE HERE" LIST IN CHATROOMS
Please either fix the ads so they don't cover up the "People Here" list and "Notify AOL" button or please stop the ads. This is extremely annoying. At times the ads work their way up to nearly covering up the entire "People Here" list. The only way to fix it when it does this is to exit and re-enter the chatroom.

Complaint
Complaint - Case # 11193105 Unable to access my bank (efirstbank) thru AOL. Worked with online staff and they determined this is a known issue and will be handled with next AOL update. Been a customer with AOL for over 20 years and disappointed with outcome which is just to keep checking and wait for a resolution. Sincerely ** Dolsby

if you could possible disable the settings for spell checker option.
1.Click “Mail” on the top-left corner of ADG.
2.Click “Mail Settings”.
3.Uncheck the option “Perform a spell check before sending mail”. -

AOL is an email service provider not an internet, cable or phone service provider. We recommend contacting your internet service provider for such issues.

Gold is Fool's Gold
Gold is Fool's Gold --- if you don't have a current "AOL" backup from Gold and you lose your system, you are screwed. Gold is tied to the system it is installed on and NOTHING can be recovered without signing on to your system that is now trashed.

You can create a back-up of your personal data file, by using the Export feature in AOL Desktop Gold, and restore the back-up using the Import feature.
The back-up created with the Export feature, can be stored on an external storage device, and moved to another device.
