    my idea is that i am considering dropping AOL I have been loyal even after you started charging a monthly fee and the experience has just gotten worse not better

    Why does AOL e-mail ALWAYS go down?? Seems like everyday. Are people at AOL trying to chase people away? Doing a GREAT job at doing that. NEVER had this problem when AOL Owned the company. This before Time-Warner bought it out. SAD AOL decides what e-mail is rejected.

  4. Here we go again!

    Enough already! Someone else is posting as Judith, but that person is @J***8. I am @**77, was the first Judith to ever post, and now people are wanting to know why I'm posting things that aren't like me. I have to keep telling them IT'S NOT ME! It's frustrating, giving me a reputation that I don't deserved and, furthermore, I seem to have lost my blue star and leader designation on the forums! I'm ready to sue AOL for their complicity in this and not fixing it even though I've mentioned it numerous times.

  6. Stop deleting names from a group listing in my address book. On several occasions I have sent out an email to a group and one or more of

    I have several groups listed in my address book with the names of the group listed. Recently when I send out an email in bulk, one or more of the names are deleted and they do not receive the email. When I check the address book their names have been dropped from the group and I am not doing this. I want to know why this is happening.

  7. This awful softwear makes me sign in every time ON MY OWN COMPUTER plus pay a monthly fee.

    Now it is asking me for my phone number and when i put it in, I am told you will not accept it. I am ready to scrap this and start with a good email service like gmail. old aol was MUCH better than this.

    We tried to set up the filtering system and save it to another named folder, but it does not recognize any name that we created and gave us a message that no name was entered in the Search window".

  10. Difficulty Accessing Emails

    Lately when I sign in I get two to three windows with my emails. Need to delete several in order to access. In addition, emails are constantly loading, then the system freezes. I need to sign out and re-sign in again. I have been an AOL user for years. This is getting real tired. Also, of late, only the current day of emails is available. Where are they rest of them? Why do I need a day for all of them to come back or not receive a message that my emails are not currently available?...for an entire day? The…

  12. make AOL gold WORK perhaps

    I was passed around to four different reps given three different "temp" passwords to use. finally was told that access was not granted to my account due to so much activity (duh after four AOL reps I am not shocked) and still can't sign on to my master name. Thanks AOL

  15. Error:Sender address rejected: not owned by user. I get this error when trying to set up our billing program to send automatic e-mail.

    Trying to set up our billing program (CUSI) to send automatic e-mail responses. We've had CUSI installed on our computer for 3+ years and now are trying to set up the e-mail function.

    We provided CUSI with our AOL account credentials to allow AOL to send the automatic e-mail's. The billing program can log into AOL, we don't have an issue until the e-mail is trying to send. We get an error message as follows:

    Sender address rejected: not owned by user
    Failed when sending MAIL

    Please set a default email signature in AOL Desktop Gold:

    1. Click the Mail menu at the top of the window.
    2. Click Set Mail Signatures.
    3. Select the signature you want to set as the default signature.
    4. Click Default On/Off. A blue check mark appears next to the signature name.

    Regarding the Favorites issue please call the AOL Desktop Gold team at 1-888-265-3733 in order to have one of our Technical Support agents investigate this.

  18. Write new software and throw Gold into the ocean. Still having problem with the software not uploading/sending emails. Gives "try again in 5

    Return to old software and abandon Gold. It is terrible. Doesn't give or send email quite often. Gives "try again in 5 minutes" warnings. Also deletes my signature quite often and I have to re type it. Really awful, and they make us pay for this pain. Looking at Gmail.com.

  20. What's with the icons in the toolbar that I keep removing and come back at next startup?

    I keep removing these pointless icons I never use, but start AOL "MOLD", and they just keep coming back. How do you get rid of them PERMANENTLY ?
