    The comment section is still broken. Refreshing the page does not fix it. Hitting f5 does not fix it. I've cleared my footprints, nothing changed. I'm tired of having to comment as a guest because that's the default.. How many more times must I complain about AOL Gold?

  3. POOR PERFORMANCE

    I HATE/ABHOR AOL DESKTOP GOLD. I have never seen such a total failure of a site that was previously working well for many. For this we are paying money??? Performance is horrible and, it is NOT my computer as I've had it checked out by experts who, BTW, echo sentiments about AOL. As soon as I can find a way to transfer all my favorites, saved data, emails, contacts, etc., this 30yr customer is HISTORY. Booo Hisss AOL...shame on you.

  4. My AOL Desktop Gold is not working

    I noticed there are others who cannot use their AOL Desktop. It freezes up when I login to AOL through AOL Gold, and the only way I can even get on is to go through Firefox. What is going on? I liked the old AOL better. They really messed up AOL. I have been with for over a decade.

  5. AOL GOLD IS SO SLOW ITS NEAR UNUSABLE

    AOL GOLD IS CLUMSY, SLOW, CUMBERSOME, INEFFICIENT AND STILL CONTAINS MANY GLITCHES WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED MANY MONTHS AGO, LIKE LAST YEAR. AOL GOLD LOCKS UP YOUR COMPUTER REQUIRING CONTROL-ALT-DELETE FREQUENTLY. AND, SOMETIMES THE LOCK IS SO COMPLETE THAT EVEN THAT WILL NOT WORK. THE COMPUTER MUST BE OUTRIGHT POWERED OFF AT THE MAIN SWITCH. THAT'S PRETTY BAD. AOL GOLD FREQUENTLY CRASHES THE PROGRAM REQUIRING COMPUTER REBOOT. ITS THE ONLY ONLINE PROGRAM I KNOW OF THAT DOES THIS. IT IS FAR FROM COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 7, VISTA AND OTHERS. ADD TO THIS THOSE IDIOTIC AOL SERIALIZED NEWS STORIES WHICH…

    All of a sudden all embedded images in email are not showing up. I belong to some graphics groups and this situation is unacceptable! If it's not fixed immediately I'm gone.

  7. Unable to Open a .png file attachment

    I was sent 2 emails with attachment of .png. file and I was not able to open or read the attachments or files even with Icy remote sharing my computer.

  8. My Data Export/Import

    Found My Data in settings by accident. Was very happy to see an Export/Import for mail, etc. Had old emails in Gold on one computer so did the Export to transfer to a new desktop. The Import is now taking over three hours!!!! And it's still not done!!!!! I'm going to let it run just to see if it really will import all my 9.8.2 emails. Really shouldn't take this long. The Export also took a very long time. This needs some work.

  10. Error Messages Keep Telling Me My Mail Cannot Be Sent Because of Some Error

    Sometimes I get a message that says my mail cannot be sent because of an error yet it will send if I put it into Mail Waiting to be Sent. Other times it says We Seem To Be Having Trouble Loading Your Mail. Try Again in 5 Minutes. But five minutes, ten minutes, half an hour later and it still won't send my mail!!

    Due to the fact that if I delete someone from the address book, it immediately returns to the beginning of the list, it is virtually impossible to go through my address book and delete old ones. Please do NOT return to beginning of address book after a deletion.

  12. I don't like this new Desktop version. It is NOT AOL!

    I wake up this morning and my Desktop is now nothing like I'm use to. I do not like it. How can I use the OLD one where I can click on a story or just pass it by. Why has it changed? I don't know how to use this. Is this what other browsers look like? It's one of the reasons why I still use AOL. Would I have to find an earlier version?

    about a week ago i tried to go to Ebay.com but would not load and has been that way since. error: too many redirects..

    i can use internet explorer and not a problem loading but AOL will not load

  17. When I save an incoming mail to my PC it's not saved in the right folder

    When I save an incoming mail to my PC it's not saved in the right folder.

    It is not in the Incoming Mail folder. It's in the Heading folder titled "Saved on My PC and it is the only saved incoming mil in there, The older ones saved on my PC are in the Incoming Mail Received folder.

    Why do things break almost daily that were not broken before??

  20. why when i hit delete in mail it deletes 2 emails sometimes.
