AOL desktop Gold is working so slow. Hoping that this will fix soon. Thank you
Please fix this

To resolve the slowness and performance issues, please try the troubleshooting solutions below:
1. Clear the Footprints in the new AOL Desktop. Here’s how you clear the Footprints: a. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu. b. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.

3. Enable only the essential startup programs. Multiple programs may have been set to start automatically when a computer is turned on. These programs may cause the computer to slow down, and affect other running applications. Hi team,
AOL desktop gold is currently acting so slow when signing in and loading emails in the mailbox. For instance, it takes 3-5 minutes just to load the emails or to sign in.

My Mail loads extremely slow and sometimes not at all. this is happening on all three of my computers. Per your suggestion I updated "GOLD" by uninstalling and re-installing. Still have same issue. Now when I want to chat you want me to pay for that too? Not Happy with a service I pay for. Can't read my mail. Can't read articles here without ads popping up everywhere covering my material. Very annoying..

Same here!! If I click on the email "envelope" icon.....NOTHING happens!! Neither the icon in the upper right corner, nor in the mail box column. At first I thought it was my computer so I did a "restart". Well, NOT my computer it's AOL!! I tried to do a chat....holding FOREVER for an Agent, so I called the 800#.....listened to music FOREVER!! so hung-up & "ended chat that never even began"!! Getting to be INEFFICIENT Service since AOL was sold & taken over by other company!! Don;t want to drop because that means all new biz cards, company stationary & most importantly reaching out to 100's of clients to give new email update. Really sucks....wish they had never SOLD to this other company!!

I can tab on an email and the body is empty. I close that and reopen the email and the body will appear. An AOL tech took over my computer remotely but did not fix the problem! I may drop AOL also.

Same problem for me. I am also having a problem with the program crashing more often too. I don't know what happened that the desktop software is performing worse than ever. I have had AOL for 25 years and always have to defend my loyalty to my "gmail" friends. I hope that AOL is actively working on this problem and proves them wrong!

WHERE IS MY EMAIL SINCE THEN - 3 WEEKS NOT SHOWING!!
EMAIL IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN -- CONTINUES TO BE VERY SLOW OR NOT WORK AND NOW HAVING RECENT EMAIL NOT SHOWN THIS HAS HAPPENED MORE THAN ONCE LATELY

Email is one of the most important features on AOL
NEVER _ NEVER before have we had such a TERRIBLE EMAIL SERVICE
Today for the SECOND TIME in a couple of weeks my newest email shows a JULY 26 date. I am expecting serious business email today and obviously cannot or have not gotten it.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS -- HAVE NEVER seen such poor service from AOL!!!!!! -

AOL Desktop Gold has gotten even more slow with high speed Internet and Microsoft 10 Pro. Five minutes to load mail is ludicrous. Either fix it or make it free. What are you doing with my money?

I don't know where to enter the problem I'm going to describe. So am writing it here.
Many times, yes many times, I hear voices and conversation and laughter in the background. Employees obviously have open microphones or whatever you may call their sound implements with which they eavesdrop on us. That is totally unacceptable. I have already begun to make inquiries as to which California agency I need to contact to inform them of this happening with AOL.

I have the same problem too often. Also, "AOL Desktop Gold not Responding" has become a daily affair. And I'm paying for better service. I have a Google and Yahoo account. No problem moving to them with the slow unacceptable service from AOL.

I click on an e-mail and it takes 5-10 seconds for the message to appear. No other application, i.e. Comcast, Gmail, have this problem
