Restore the old spam settings. Now we only have one setting.
First you took away stationery and vast choice of fonts, emojis, etc. Then you changed how mail is set up (from new, old, sent, spam, deleted mail to current style) and the Spam settings from numerous choices to only one (blocked). it seems the longer we continue to PAY for AOL Gold, the less we are getting for our money. I see by the Feedback that I'm far from alone in feeling AOL Gold does not seem "golden" to your PAYING customers.

Hey,
Wanted to let you all know that you now have the ability to block mail from unwanted senders. Please click the link here to learn more: https://help.aol.com/articles/keep-your-inbox-clean-by-blocking-unwanted-mail-in-aol-desktop-gold

if AOL GOLD is to be a platform for spam advertisers--stop charging us for AOL GOLD--your advertisers can be your sole source of income.

ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. AOL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS PAYING CUSTOMERS, OBVIOUSLY.

It is unacceptable that we have to "block unwanted email" every time we receive a spam message. Restore the old spam settings ASAP!

I have never gotten as much spam as recently in all the time I have been using AOL. I get tons of spam from some spammer that starts out webservice. every day, As soon as I block one spammer, another takes its place...and often the block does not even work. Now that I am a paying customer of AOL, I expect AOL to do a better job of identifying and eliminating all this spam mail. Somebody in your company needs to do a lot of work on this if you want to retain your customers.

Put mail back to previous, now you have to handle all emails four times. Mail previously deleted both for regular and spam has to be handled four times delete and delete again. Too cumbersome

The amount of spam I get has skyrocketed. I've AOL over 20 years, and I can block LESS spam than before. e-mail from legitamate senders I have had for years now winds up in spam. I am looking seriously into changing e-mail providers.

I am very unhappy with the recent removal of spam filters and without any notice of this change. I will seriously look at other email services and discontinue my AOL "service" which I have had for almost 30 years. Increasing price with decreasing service. What's with that?

My two biggest issues - first, SPAM!! I delete it every day, I have fixed my controls as much as I can to not receive ANY spam, however, every time I turn on AOL Gold, my spam folder is full of the same garbage from many of the same websites (all of which I've repeatedly deleted) is back again. We follow AOL's directions, which don't work. Now I am even beginning to receive important emails in my SPAM!!! Secondly, nearly all of your articles MAKE us go through your stupid slide shows to see what we'd opened the article to read. It's like a 'teaser', an AOL Dog & Pony Show that mostly cuts off in the middle of it, or has SO many pop-ups (which I've also tried to get rid of to no avail) that it makes it beyond annoying and sometimes even impossible to see the slides.

E-mail preferences need to have a "block all BUT named users" to receive mail to me. I tediously added hundreds of names over a twenty year period so that everything else would go to Spam. I easily sorted Spam by address, kept a few, then hit "Delete All." AOL wrongfully deleted this database, which was my personally-created intellectual property. This has further resulted in significant wasted effort required by me each day to review and delete Spam that used to be diverted to my Spam folder. The feature needs to be restored, and the data MUST be returned to me. The move to your new "platform" is a disaster. You must reverse course before you lose your last three customers.
