Restore the old spam settings. Now we only have one setting.
First you took away stationery and vast choice of fonts, emojis, etc. Then you changed how mail is set up (from new, old, sent, spam, deleted mail to current style) and the Spam settings from numerous choices to only one (blocked). it seems the longer we continue to PAY for AOL Gold, the less we are getting for our money. I see by the Feedback that I'm far from alone in feeling AOL Gold does not seem "golden" to your PAYING customers.
Hey,
Wanted to let you all know that you now have the ability to block mail from unwanted senders. Please click the link here to learn more: https://help.aol.com/articles/keep-your-inbox-clean-by-blocking-unwanted-mail-in-aol-desktop-gold

Same here. Last few months went from no spam to wasting so much time everyday adding names to block list. Something changed. Unable to block emails with certain words like "Welcome" or "Noreply". Something changed and not for the better.

I am unable to add the address noreply+noreply@*.info
to my Spam Control.
How do I fix this? -
MICHAEL GLUHANICH commented
I don't understand why AOL can not permanently block all emails that begin with "noreply+noreply" (not just put them in the spam folder)

Allow 40/50 spam emails a day using the same names like WHY, submit, and noreplay before the @. Need a way to be able to block them all.
WHY@* etc. -

I just want to pass on a compliment for a change. My Spam Filter is working great. It is catching all the email I tag as Spam and continues to catch it in the future. The filter is also catching lots of stuff before I even get it. It is very accurate. Nice work.

Any item we delete from spam should be blocked automatically.

I had over 100 spam mails yesterday. I select delete all and they all then go to recently deleted folder. Then I have to delete all of then individually. Why!!!! I guess I will have to get rid of aol and go to another email carrier??

I am receiving a lot of spam from one domain: .HOST and after calling AOL tech support, they say that there is nothing they can do... They messages/emails have already been identified as spam...so these emails from Domain HOST have already been ID as spam...
There should be a method to stop ALL EMAIL FROM THIS DOMAIN: HOST -

I love AOL. Been on it FOREVER!! However, I am having trouble keeping my screen on when using AOL. Somewhat frustrating. More frustrating, even though I have my Spam Filter set as high as it will go, I still get MASSIVE amounts of spam. I sure hope I hear from someone or I will have to go to another provider. Thank you. Ike

I am a long time AOL subscriber, like 30 plus years, i am seriously considering a change of carriers for email. Two reasons, the cost, and a second, probably more importantly, the dirty pornographic SPAM that comes on a daily basis. I have tried to unsubscribe from it. That does not work, as new Spam comes with different addresses. Is there a way to block it?

The problem now is that there is no "save" button anywhere in the Settings - Mail menu to save your new additions. Talked with Tech Support yesterday. The guy said that I'd have to go to AOL web mail to add any additional email addresses that I want to add. NOT customer friendly when I only want to use my AOL Desktop Gold with the features in it. Please add a "save" button so I can add more "offenders". Can't understand why a "save" button is such an outlandish request!
