Restore the old spam settings. Now we only have one setting.
First you took away stationery and vast choice of fonts, emojis, etc. Then you changed how mail is set up (from new, old, sent, spam, deleted mail to current style) and the Spam settings from numerous choices to only one (blocked). it seems the longer we continue to PAY for AOL Gold, the less we are getting for our money. I see by the Feedback that I'm far from alone in feeling AOL Gold does not seem "golden" to your PAYING customers.

I am a 60 year old woman (not a lesbian) who is happily taken. I do not enjoy receiving about 5 to 20 spam emails a day with pictures of **** nude women. I also do not enjoy receiving 2 or 3 of the same spam email for cbd oil, overweight products, pain treatments, beneficiary emails (how can I be a beneficiary to so many people?), lottery winning emails for lotteries I have never heard of or entered, etc. The list goes on and on and on. I am severely disgusted with all this spam email. I have another email that I use for my accounting business and I have to view all the spam to make sure that the email is not from a client. I spend 1/2 hour to 45 minutes every day just going through my spam. That is how many emails I receive a day. I have spoken to AOL more than once about this and nothing is being done. I was actually told to leave the spam and ignore it. Again, I cannot due to clients emails sometimes ending up in my spam mail. I also keep getting 2 to 10 emails telling me that my email could not be delivered to Aircool. Every Aircool email has a different number following Aircool therefore I cannot block the email. Any Suggestions?

What good is your spam controls if I constantly get inundated with e-mails from newsletter@xyz All have "newsletter" as the address but each one is a different domain. I have tried to exclude all email with the address "newsletter" it by entering a rule rejecting mail from newsletter* but the only thing it does is drop them in the spam folder. I don't want to see them! Are your rules and spam controls all just a joke.

How can I block spam from newsletter@*.us ? I get some every day (today I have 36 of them), for example: newsletter@******************.us, newsletter@*********.us, newsletter@**************.us, newsletter@********************.us, newsletter@**************.us, newsletter@*******************.us, etc.

Blocking emails with particular words in the subject line prevented almost all spam emails. Without that feature i'm getting between 60-90 A DAY!! Please add it back. Typing in individual spam addresses is time consuming & ineffective.

I used to be able to stop multiple spam by using an asterisk such as root@* or GoldWild@* but I can no longer do this. Every day I get dozens of spam beginning with root@agree.obnoxiously.net or root@strine.org. etc or GoldWild@outpiping.net or GoldWild@tomorrow.outpiping.net. How do I block these and others like them like them?

Please add a way to block spam emails that use different addresses each time they send an email. I cannot block each individual address and expect the same types of emails from repeating. Please restore the * and ? to block groups of similar emails. It would also be nice if you would allow your users to set up emails rules to block emails with specific words or phrases in them. I also get some particular emails between 3 am and 5 am. Please add a filter to allow blocking during specified times. Thanks, bob

I am fed up with this so called wonderful desktop. Not being able to block these stupid unwanted emails is maddening..and the issue that makes me even more furious is AOL has done nothing to resolve this..How stupid of them to remove so many valuable assets!! GET WITH THE PROGRAM and do something!!!!

You should never have switched from 2 blocking options to only 1 in the first place! The Name/Phrase blocking worked for years. I've been an AOL user since 1996, and AOL grew until 9.8 was canned, now it's backward and downhill. Please rid us of these spambots NOW!

I get 30-50 spams a day from "CONTACTS" at various domains.
They are all spam and I'd like to block them and others like we could on the old AOL. using CONTACTS@*.
Also use the *@<domain name> to block an entire domain like the old AOL. -

When I click on "Report Spam" and then enter the email address and then "Save" I get a small window that reads, "Javascript Alert, https://mail.aol.com" and tells me I can't use following characters (like #^%) or other characters. None of the email address's I enter have ANY characters in them. So why can't the ones I entered be saved? Please reply with how to correct this problem.
