Restore the old spam settings. Now we only have one setting.
First you took away stationery and vast choice of fonts, emojis, etc. Then you changed how mail is set up (from new, old, sent, spam, deleted mail to current style) and the Spam settings from numerous choices to only one (blocked). it seems the longer we continue to PAY for AOL Gold, the less we are getting for our money. I see by the Feedback that I'm far from alone in feeling AOL Gold does not seem "golden" to your PAYING customers.
Hey,
Wanted to let you all know that you now have the ability to block mail from unwanted senders. Please click the link here to learn more: https://help.aol.com/articles/keep-your-inbox-clean-by-blocking-unwanted-mail-in-aol-desktop-gold

Fix the spam control! I will decide what is SPAM not AOL. AOL Gold is not Gold for sure. This is the worse programming AOL has ever done. What a mess you have made!

i agree totally! You charge now for much less !! Spam controls are a joke! Thinking very seriously about using my gmail account and dropping aol!!

restore old settings. I can't stand that I get close to one hundred emails each day from unknowns that I have no interest in. Formerly I was able to get emails from only those in my address book and that is what I want

It would be REALLY nice, if AOL would simply block anything from (.uk). That's where just about all of my spam comes from. If they won't block it, let the user decide which addresses to just DELETE, not send to a SPAM folder. I like to keep things cleaned out but the (.uk) **** makes that almost impossible.

Please bring back the old spam settings! Over the last week I have been bombarded! I am getting close to 70+ a day! This is ridiculous! I have had my aol email address for over 20 years and this is how people know to reach me so I can't just change so easily. . . please make improvements!

I hate AOL and will be looking around. Now I can't send my group mail except 40 at a time my list is 110. Many changes and AOL doesn't listen so good bye. I pay for mine and was told how valuable I was what a mess you have caused me.

From the looks of other comments, AOL is not listening.

I hate the new AOL. Need to do something about it or go back to old AOL. I'm having trouble with my deleted e-mails going to SPAM folder. Also, new incoming e-mails are going there. I can't find where there are settings or key words for this folder. AOL is not worth the money.

it seems they took away our block unwanted mail very sneaky wise. now i can't block all their d--- ads and i get around 40 spam ads a ady and now they are creeping into even my regular mail. i have emailed them over and over and aol only cares about the ads, i'm gonna part with aol soon i think..they lied and made people pay and then took away more..we should talk to a lawyer..false advertising

I also want you to restore the old spam settings. What you have available for us to use today is not useful at all.

SPAM SETTINGS - WHY DID YOU CHANGE???
Spam Settings have been changed to only ONE option, that is to block mail from the Sender Filter. The old spam settings allowed you to receive mail from addresses I specify. This feature is very useful. With the new spam settings, I will now receive ANY mail, not blocked. And no, I can’t be blocking all these unknown emails; they change constantly.

I have used AOL for years. As a matter of fact, goes back to the middle 90s. Only service I have ever used, but now looking at g-mail. I have sent e-mails out to our church for years, never having any problems with number of recipients. Now all of a sudden, I have to subdivide the list into small groups, so the spam filter will not block it going out. At one time you could get it changed so they would not block you, now I was told to put it in smaller groups and it will go, and I have to pay for this. I wonder if there is one of the old CDs floating around that I could load an old AOL and use it. Thin ice!!!!!
