Restore the old spam settings. Now we only have one setting.
First you took away stationery and vast choice of fonts, emojis, etc. Then you changed how mail is set up (from new, old, sent, spam, deleted mail to current style) and the Spam settings from numerous choices to only one (blocked). it seems the longer we continue to PAY for AOL Gold, the less we are getting for our money. I see by the Feedback that I'm far from alone in feeling AOL Gold does not seem "golden" to your PAYING customers.
Hey,
Wanted to let you all know that you now have the ability to block mail from unwanted senders. Please click the link here to learn more: https://help.aol.com/articles/keep-your-inbox-clean-by-blocking-unwanted-mail-in-aol-desktop-gold

AOL-Tell us what you are doing to better Stop Spam. I see SPAM emails in my SPAM folder that I have reported as SPAM for years, e.g., emails from classmates.com. Please tighten controls to stop SPAM after the sender has been reported twice.

Practically every email I get has this warning at the top: "We put this in your mailbox but we think it"s Spam:!
I think your SPAM monitor needs to be replaced or at least updated. I am using the "Mail from contacts only"!! -

increase the limit of addresses that can blocked to 5000.
I am filling up the 1000 spam address limit within 2 months. then I need to erase the stored blocked emails and start all over .it should be alot easier to post a word or phrase or number that is located in an email address to have it added to the spam list .
Alot of spam emails are using the same info before the @ . then changing the last part of the email.
Many spam emails are coming in as Unknown sender . then upon checking the details the actual spam email address is located . Why cant locating the originating spam email address be located by AOL?
Thank you for looking into theses situations -

my spam box get flooded with more than 100 a day spam & scam mails & growing as AOL only want to sell me additional spam blocker for fees when i already pay for AOL gold that keeps increasing fees but not services as i am with AOL from the beginning 1990 as a paid member as services & protections decreased as i had better use & controls with the original AOL blue even with dialup service it was more user friendly to self-help

Criminals picked up my AOL e-mail address from the Dark Web, according to Experian. Since then—for the past eight months or longer—I have been overwhelmed with hundreds of pornographic spam messages every week from criminals around the world. Marking all of these as "spam" on AOL and sending them to the U. S. Government at US-CERT (phishing-report@us-cert.gov) has had no effect whatsoever. They just keep arriving unabated and in increasing numbers.
These pornographic e-mails disrupt my business and personal life to such an extent that getting rid of them now occupies a major part of each and every day.
Surely with the resources available to AOL corporate, and working with Federal law enforcement, you can put a stop to this outrageous criminal activity.
I have written to and called AOL about this serious issue numerous times in the recent past. But so far, you have done absolutely nothing about it.
Please become proactive and address this major problem once and for all, ensuring that I and all paying AOL subscribers receive no more of these types of e-mails.
