Ever since I went to AOL Desktop Gold I'm getting a lot of ad e-mails and **** e-mails and I'm not very happy about it, especially since I'm paying you. Also, there's no easy way to block these sites without opening the e-mail. Please respond with a solution.
The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify unwanted emails in the future. You can also block specific senders by going to the Mail menu on the top left, and selecting “Block Unwanted Mail” from the drop-down menu, then adding the senders emails address in the Sender Filter’s block list.

It appears to me AOL should be resolving this SPAM problem. It is your product we are just the users and have absolutely no way to step in an rewrite your systems. I don't think you want us even trying to do this. Do you?

AOL is now sending email from some of my longtime correspondents into spam. This is still happening after weeks of my marking these emails as "Not Spam." Your technical people say nothing can be done! Why?

These spam messages are a waste of time. To my knowledge, it doesn't appear to be causing any damage to my computer or systems but that is a definite unknown at this point. It just seems impossible that this kind of junk mail is getting thru the AOL system. For as many years as most of us have been using AOL you wouldn't think this kind of stuff could get thru the AOL system.
Fixing this by stopping all of this would be a big confidence builder for all of us loyal AOL users. Not getting it fixed does just the opposite. -

I have been an AOL customer since the very beginning. I'm now 77 years old.
My message above is about as clear as it can be I just deleted 477 spam messages and two minutes later I had 504 new spam messages.
It may be time for all of us to switch to some other provider.
Can you make a suggestion to where we can go? -

I HAVE HAD AOL FOR ALMOST 30 YEARS BUT I HATE THE INCLREASE IN SPAM EMAILS! IT WOULD MAKE SENSE IF AOL allowed more than 3 BLOCKED DOMAINS on that list. I get countless spam from the SAME DOMAINS. We should be able to put ALL the spam into BLOCKED DOMAINS!!!!!

Today 10/1/25 @ 12:10 p.m. Central Time in USA, I clicked on AOL's article #10 of #47 about Bronny James reportedly recovering from cardiac arrest, experts available for comment. I immediately received a full screen Malware warning and I quickly unplugged my computer and was able to avoid getting locked-up. AOL needs to look into this.

Please block emails that show up in my Spam folder with the following construct: New_Offer_ID(5numbers) and the domain changes.

I agree with this. I spend more time blocking Spam that I do reading my emails or surfing. It has gotten so bad I am thinking of canceling my account.

AOL -- are you even listening? What are you planning to do about this? And don't say "call tech support". That doesn't help. Yesterday I had over 30 SPAM emails. Do something!!!
