Spam Mail Deletion

I would suggest that recently deleted "Spam Mail" should go into the "Recently Deleted" folder the way previous versions (Blue) of AOL did for years. This would allow review prior to permanent deletion, esp. if the Spam Mail were deleted in error.

    SPAM IS OUT OF CONTROLL. I AM CAREFUL WITH SECURITY AND NEVER CLICK ON THEM, BUT THEY JUST KEEP MULTIPLYING. I PAY FOR THIS SERVICE AND SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS.

    I found an email from one of my doctors in my spam folder. As a check I clicked on "Add address" and received a reply that it is already in my address list. So, why is it going to spam ?

    Suddenly our deleted Spam mail is going into Recently Deleted Mail. I've deleted it once already and don't like having to delete it twice. I also agree that the "OLD" mail set up was better: New, Old, Drafts, Sent, Spam and Deleted Mail. When something has worked well for 20+ years, why change it? We already lost so much with the "new, improved AOL GOLD DESKTOP" version like lots of fonts, actual "HELP" instead of submitting "Bugs" or "Feedback", better Spam settings, etc. Come on, fix this.

    DO NOT MOVE DELETED SPAM TO THE RECENTLY DELETED FOLDER. MOVE THE DELETE BUTTONS OR SOMETHING ELSE....BUT I DO NOT LIKE TO WAST MY TIME HAVING TO DELETE THINGS AGAIN.

    Why not just be mindful of what you delete instead of asking for a second chance. I resent having to delete these mails from the SPAM folder and then having to delete them AGAIN in the recently deleted folder. PAY ATTENTION the first time!!
    Moving these mails to a second place to be deleted again is a HORRIBLE idea!!!
    Better yet, AOL, stop the obvious junk emails in the first place.

    Be able to "permanently delete" trash without selecting as I can "delete all" spam without selecting

    Another thought: You could make the Delete All button RED instead of blue, so that we'd notice the difference with the Delete button at a glance. (And put it in a different location.)
    Frankly, many of these posted ideas would work, but AOL hasn't done anything!!

    At least get the Delete All button out of the space where the Delete button is on the regular mail. For the umpteenth time, I just deleted all my "spam" messages when I just wanted to delete one message!!! It's an automatic move. And now I can't get the deletions back and have no idea if I deleted good messages. Here's a simple fix: SWITCH THE "DELETE" AND "DELETE ALL" BUTTONS IN SPAM. (But first notify us please.)

    And please move the "delete" and the "delete all" buttons further apart! For some reason a lot of mail that is not really spam is now going to the spam folder, and it only takes a small movement of the mouse to accidentally permanently delete all the messages instead of just one or two.

    My Spam says I have one more spam in my folder than is actually there and has been like that for almost a week now. Just like the emails that never got sent that every time I sign on I have to close out as they can't be sent or deleted permanently. So sign on is time wasted closing those out plus the news page.
