OUTLOOK and AOL
AOL is behind the times with the calendar not being compatible with OUTLOOK. It is becoming more and more difficult to continue to use AOL because of this. PLEASE allow your loyal users to continue and not go to Gmail like the rest of the world! I want to stay with AOL. Make AOL calendar compatible with outlook so meeting and calendar invites will go to the outlook calendar automatically. THanks

viantis advertiser had a $5 trial on aol. Tried it didnt work called to cancel the viantis after recieving $89 bill for the free trial bottle. Was told no refund then was given 30% and then after threats of a lawsuit was given %50 back. they should not be on your AOL advertisers. This is a crooked business practice and needs to be corrected.

SPAM "stuck" in my mailbox
Today marks the 3rd time that some SPAM is stuck in my spam folder. The message shows up in the count of spam messages but the message doesn't show up in the folder so I can delete it. From the first time when Tech Support called me and couldn't delete it, I know that I have to sign on to AOL web mail on the Internet and then can delete it. Desktop Gold, for me, is a disaster.
I today spent a lengthy time on the phone and interactively (Case # 07716500) with a phone rep in the Philippines who insisted the only way to solve horrific problems I was having sending mail with AOL Desktop on a PC (but not with with AOL on my iPad) was to reinstall Gold. First, she claimed that there were limits to the megs in any e-mail I replied to. When I proved to her through the AOL on the iPad that this was not true, she tried to get me to reinstall Gold. Remove the nudity and what happens in Hollywood with actors that try to outdo another with nudity display. It is repulsive and AOL needs to clean it up.

Chat Help service 'closed'
More than 2 months ago, I reported this and it's still not fixed:
Go to Help/Chat -- and sign in with name/ID/etc. and wait . . . . and wait . . . . and then msg comes back: "Your chat request has been canceled because no agents are available." THIS SHOULD BE UP FRONT, NOT AFTER YOU'VE INPUT INFO AND WAITED!!!

PLEASE stop inappropriate merging of feedback
I provided feedback earlier today on an issue with "Check for Updates", and it was inappropriately merged with another post which was also related to "Check for updates" but not the same issue. My feedback was merged without recourse to a closed feedback item, so that I couldn't even point out that the two matters were not the same!!! I understand that merging may be appropriate, but it isn't when the only relationship may be a couple of keywords.

I was prompted to provide this feedback because in the process of trying to provide feedback I could not tell whether the other feedback items I could see in various topics were current or not. Not until I chose to delve down into an item someone else posted did I discover that the posting date for the original post and comments were displayed.This reflects less than optimal page / functional design, and needs improvement -- even if this is a minor issue, it is a barrier to…

I was prompted to provide this feedback because in the process of trying to provide feedback on ANOTHER topic (which was my first attempt to use the feedback capability), I had difficulty with just the opening page! I was signed into AOL Desktop Gold via "Submit feedback" on the HELP menu. This opened a browser with the AOL Gold feedback landing page, but the upper right corner said "New and returning users may sign in" and did not reflect knowledge of me as a user. Clicking on that… -
AOL will not fix constant running background processes from AOL Gold in Windows 10 slowing all systems due to this - they fall a deaf ear!!
AOL Gold on Windows 10 will not stop running multiple background processes for the last 2 months. Gold & W 10 all up to date. No new antivirus installed - always same Norton for years. Worked fine for almost a year. Uninstalled & reinstalled by your people 10 times, never fixed. No one at AOL will fix this for us, called a dozen times & we pay $13.99 a month for this! chat room issues
why did you put a "notify aol" button in chat rooms if no one is going to respond to them or do anything? So many evil nasty people saying hurtful things to others and when we try and send to you guys, it eithrr just never gets handled or it just loads and loads and loads and never sends. What's the point and when will the issue finally get taken care of in some form or another?
