stop hiding emails. emails are hidden until one deletes the "proper" amount for the hidden emails to appear.
also, allow the user to set what page they want the app to open to.
if I want to read your version of the news I will open it.264th ranked -
do something about the way messages are downloaded. I open the App, and some load. If I close it and reopen, older messages load interleaved
If the volume of new messages is too high (it isn't in my case) load the oldest first, then new ones. It's very unsettling to find new messages later on that were received one or two days earlier than messages I read and even responded too, but only downloaded on a different session.

Return the true color of red for the font. Allow to paste a GIF as opposed to an attachment, like before.

my AOL Mail takes two or three days to update I am missing out on important things. I think it's time to walk away

make login easier
there should not be 4 screens to login. username, then password then whole new window opens, then have to click login then into email. username/password should be on same page click login and it should open right to my inbox. way to many steps multiple times a day just to check my emails.

go directly to my email, like it was 15 years ago!!!! My data plan is very expensive, so don't use email away from home.

allow us to see the sender address and the whole title of the incoming email. also don't delete my emails
once you open the email, AOL makes it impossible to see the senders email address ALONG WITH the title of the email. all of AOL's competitors have these features because they are extremely trivial and expected
