So AOL/Verizon forces us onto its own mail application and it's terrible. Once you choose a default browser there is no way to change it.

thisboxistoosmallforafullanswer. so the short version. load priority for news and ability to run before loading is complete.to stop crashing
when loading the news it slows the app down and sometimes crashes it . seems there is either no lost priority or the app won't function while loading. this can make the news feature fail and or be cumbersome to use. especially when in poor signal. if it could run on a partial load while loading then you could see the headlines already loaded and begin looking while it is still loading. it would be much smoother
