Sometimes when a mailbox behaves like this it’s because of another program or app the account is being accessed from. Syncing issues between the account and a mail app can cause emails/ folders to be moved around oddly.
If you access the account through a mobile device or app, you may want to remove the account from the device and re-add it to resolve any syncing issues in the future. More info here: https://help.aol.com/articles/aol-app-troubleshooting

Please uninstall/reinstall the email app or remove and re-add your account to it. If the issue persists, please turn your phone off/on and switch between data and WIFI.

You can create a new folder, by tapping on the Inbox button, scroll down until you see ‘’Create a new folder’‘. Here start typing the name of the folder then tap ’’Ok’’.

When emails go missing in AOL Mail, it’s often due to a few simple things; either the message is in the wrong folder or your third-party mail client’s settings.
The first thing place to check if you’re missing mail is to check your other folders. If you find missing messages in these folders it’s likely they were either mistakenly marked as Spam or filtered. Should this happen, check your filters and spam settings to make sure they’re what you expect them to be.
Also, please uninstall/reinstall the email app or remove and re-add your account to it. If the issue persists, please turn your phone off/on and switch between data and WIFI.

do not like the e mail ads, and very often my e mails get stuck and only send when I reopen the app. as nd do not like the strap line

You can remove the “sent from my new AOL app” signature, pleas tap on Settings, then on signatures. Here you can erase the old one or add a new signature.

Delete all those incorrect email addresses that pop up with autocomplete. AOL saves every error I or they ever made, just to force me to go
AOL needs to allow us to delete all those erroneous email addresses that pop up with Autocomplete. They serve no useful purpose and are very annoying.
Hi there. You can delete unwanted email addresses that pop-up in the ’’To’’ field when composing, by clicking ’’x’’ from the right side of each of these email addresses. This option is only available when accessing mail.aol.com through a desktop computer or laptop.
