The login process is so annoying!!!! Why can’t my thumbprint alone complete the login process?!?!?

Yes, I cannot login. I put in my login name, use fingerprint or not, then enter password and “sign on” button and it takes me back to enter my login name again!!! Can’t check my email as this “bug” has been existing for a while now and I can’t believe they can’t fix this problem? I see other people here have the same issue. I’ve been a member for about 20 years and I am leaving in a few weeks if this doesn’t get fixed!!
Ridiculous!!

Yes very annoying. I will tell my coworkers and other businesses to switch away from their AOL accounts.

As someone who switched to AOL once Verizon discontinued their service, I’m not at all impressed with this service. It’s very frustrating to have to sign in every time I open the app. I check this email account multiple times a day, and waste so much time re-signing in. Often, my first log-in attempt doesn’t even work. I have 3 different email accounts/providers and the other two do not have this problem. Will definitely not be recommending AOL/this app to others, and am considering discontinuing my service all together.

Stick to original makeup. Having to sign in every time is ridiculous

If aol keeps this up they will lose a customer

It remembers my account on the iPad but not on the iPhone. Strange.

I thought it was me! I rarely succeed to log in on the 1st try. Many times i fail on the second try. When I call tech support they tell me it shouldn’t be happening. As a matter of fact, sometimes I am remembered. I will give aol some time to fix... but gmail may soon be for me.

What changed? Never had a problem for years and years. How hard can it be to stay signed in? Please fix this!!

How sad, you can not even fix your own sign in APT and you will not even tell all your loyal customers why’s it happening. Because you don’t know why. So say it, at least tell us you are working on it.

Like everyone else who has texted you, WITHOUT a response, I too will shift to all gmail, mail service! How disrespectful to not answer customers who have stayed with aol for decades! People always laugh when I give them my aol account address and ask why am I still in the dark ages - well, you finally gave me a reason to jump to the 21st century!
Signing in every single time (especially on a small phone) is unnecessary! You too need to come about yo the 21st century with the touch pad, in the meantime bring back our original settings! If we want to sign in each time that should be our choice through our settings -
