Correct my email address
When Verizon converted to AOL, the 'helper' misunderstood and made my entire name my address and said that he could not change it back. Very inconvenient.
I'd like to change my email address to something else.
Thank you.Unfortunately, you can’t change or modify your username once it’s been created. If you want a different username, you’ll need to create a new account.

Make it easy to use on 3rd party apps
Make AOL email easy to use with full-featured apps such as Outlook or G-mail. the AOL app on my Google phone is not adequate for much more than a slow read, forget about archiving and storying offline. Yet you have a really cumbersome system for accessing email via Outlook or Apple Mail. I still have not yet figured it out as I don't like to spend that much time setting up my computer. I just want to add the account to Outlook (or whatever), put in the email password, and go. What is this BS about needing a different PW…
Please check the Incoming mail server settings in your email application, and make sure they match the IMAP/POP settings in the section titled “AOL Mail POP and IMAP settings” from the following help article: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-use-other-email-applications-to-send-and-receive-my-aol-mail
The incoming and outgoing mail servers require SSL enabled for all ports, and also the username field in the account setup, needs to contain your full email address, including @aol.com at the end.
In case your server settings are correct, open the link below (and sign in if necessary), and make sure the option “Allow apps that use less secure sign-in” is turned ON.

After this turning ON this option, check if your mail application is able to connect. If the problem persists, verify if the “Two-step verification” option on the Account Security page (the URL above) is turned ON or OFF.
In case this feature is turned ON, you…

If you are able to sign in and read your mail, however, you’re not receiving new mail, there are a few things you can try to fix the problems.
Check your filters:
Sometimes a filter can cause emails to bypass your inbox and be sent to either the trash folder or a different folder. You may need to check any filters you’ve created to make sure your messages are correctly organized.

Why change the layout?
Why have you moved the "From" e-mail box to the right hand side of the page? The old left hand side was the more natural side to see who the e-mail has comes, from. Most people will want, or should, see who is sending the e-mail before it is opened.
The original left hand side has worked perfectly well since day one with AOL, so why the unnecessary change? Here’s how to reset the columns:
Under your username, click Options> Customize and click on “Reset Columns”.
