GET REAL!!
Contacts are becoming increasingly harder to edit and save. I spend way, way to much time trying to enter information only to have the dreaded errors come up. You have forced me to send to my 280 legitimate club members in 4 different sends just to get one message out. I get returns on many of these e-mails. I have an idea... fix it before I leave. It's not like you haven't heard all this before from many others besides me. Sad because I have stuck with you since '99 and this has been my 1st and main e-mail account.…
We are unable to replicate your issue while editing contacts. We suggest that you clear your cookies and cache or try a different browser.
Unfortunately, what you’re looking for in bulk sending is no longer offered in the current version of AOL Mail. If you’ve received a notification that a limit of the number of sent emails was reached or you’ve sent to too many contacts, you’ll need to wait before you can send more emails.
Because of our antispam policies, we do not disclose the specific limits on the number of emails you can send or the number of contacts you can email at once. Nor do we disclose the waiting period before you can continue sending emails. I apologize for the inconvenience.

1st or Primary Contact's Email vs 2nd or Seconday Contact's Email
When I put a the first character of a person's email into the address line I get all the emails the person is associated with. I have gone into the "edit contact" many, many times to put the primary email of my contacts FIRST. I save and usually save several times to be sure but it keeps putting the 1st or primary email of my contact SECOND. Why won't it save!? I do not get an error, it says it was "saved", it just keeps changing it back!
For each contact you can add up to 3 email addresses, using the ScreenName, Email 1 and Email 2 fields. The ScreenName field will always be the primary address, but if the field is left empty the ‘Email 1’ will become the primary email address.

Why is a contact name limited to only one group?
You can add the same contact in multiple groups. Please, clear cache and cookies from your browser: https://help.aol.com/articles/clear-cookies-cache-history-and-footprints-in-your-browser. If you have the same issue after that please, try another browser.

Everytime I try to make a change in my email contacts or make a change to one, I get "A server error occurred while saving your contact. Ple
I try to save a contact in emails or change something in a contact and I get "A server error occurred while saving your contact Please try again later." I cannot save. What is going on with AOL?

I have just installed AOL mail on my android phone. (Version 8, Oreo) and I cannot find my contact list. (Address book.) Where is it.
Why can't I find my contact list on your app
To view the Contacts list you need to access AOL Mail from a laptop or PC. On mobile devices, the list appears in the Compose section, in the ’’To’’ or CC/BCC fields.

Go to mail.aol.com from a laptop/PC, click Options-Mail Settings-Compose and on Sending, uncheck the ‘’Automatically add email addresses to Contacts’’ option. Then scroll down and save settings.

Distribution lists
I would like to be able to edit and mange distribution lists on iPad. I can’t see any way to edit a list once it is created.
You can manage the distribution lists by going to mail.aol.com from a desktop computer.

how do I add a contact email, from a new contact?
One click contact adding. Or 2 clicks. Don't give me to write it down to transfer to contacts. Can't even copy paste it.
1st day with aol email, you have me cursing like a sailor with the unfriendly interface. Great job(this is sarcasm.)To edit/ add contacts, make sure to access mail.aol.com on a desktop computer.

contact lists 50 users
I have a contact list that has 112 contacts. Today I tried to send to this list and get a message technical error try again later. AOL chat support says I am limited to 50 addresses in a contact list now. Is this true? I have been using this list for years on a weekly basis. I was able to import the list to my free gmail account and send my message. That worked Why am I paying for AOL?
You can have a maximum of 300 contacts per group. The most common causes for the issue that you are experiencing include, sending a lot of emails in a short time or sending one or more emails to a large number of recipients. If you previously sent a bulk email, you’ll need to wait a set amount of time before you can send more emails.
Additionally, please check the email addresses you are sending mail to, and make sure the list does not contain any invalid or incorrect email addresses, which might result in a delivery failure.
