    We should be able to search for a contact without having to go thru a convoluted mess of contacts that is filed in no particular orde.r How about listing the names in first name alpha order and allowing a search for a particular person?

    In order to resolve the issue, you will need to click on the pop-up blocker icon at the end of the address box, and select ‘Always allow pop-ups and redirects from https://mail.aol.com’, then click on ‘Done’. In case you do not see the pop-up blocker icon at the end of the address box, first try to open a link from an email, and the icon should show up.

  3. links aren't enabled. I don't have a pop-up setting, and my links are supposed to be enabled. I don't see any popup icon.

    Tell us how to enable links, and disable popup blocker. Links have worked for 30 years and suddenly disabled themselves. I don't see any "popup blocker" icon so that doesn't work.

    Why am I getting ImgSync from image8.pubmatic.com pop out along the bottom of my screen (where I'm asked if I want AOL to keep me signed in) whenever I log into my AOL e-mail? It does not happen any other time. I clear browser history, cookies, and cache every time I shut down my e-mail and I remove all cookies and trackers several times a week. Yet the problem persists! Can you do something about this? Do I have to find another ISP?

    We recommend disabling the your browser extensions, and also running a virus scan on your computer. If the issue persists, check if you encounter the same issue when accessing AOL Mail on different browsers.

    Thank you for your feedback. I think we may have a solution for you! Try clearing your cookies, cache, and history by following the info here: http://aol.it/1KTJUg6. Also, please do a power cycle to your router. After that, please go on mail.aol.com and try again.

  6. AOL auto replies spam to every incoming messages.. how to stop

    Every time I get an email, my aol automatically replies with some spam email that contains an attachment that is unable to be opened. Need to know how to get rid of these replies

    You’ll be sent a verification code to enter the first time you sign in from a device, browser, or location we haven’t seen you use before. After successful verification and account sign-in, you may not be prompted to enter a verification code again when you sign in using the same device, browser, or location.
    In case you reset the browser or cleared your cache and cookies, you will unauthorize the device, browser, or location, and will be asked for a verification code the next time you sign in. The same applies if you use a private browser window to sign into AOL Mail.

  10. Problems signing into Aol.com mobile account in the passed two days. What went wrong? Couldn't correct the problem even with tech support.

    Aol.com mobile access failed twice in four days beginning March 9th. Why did it fail and what was done to correct the unknown problem?

    Please go to mail.aol.com on a desktop computer and check if the password is correct. If you are able to sign in this way, clear your cookies and cache on the mobile device and try again.

    when printing email, the email separating lines or typed messages are not word wrapped causing the print to be all on one line and unreadable due to being too small.

    If the email does not have word wrapping, it means that the sender compose it in plain text (without rich text/HTML). In this case, please ask the sender to switch to Rich text/HTML as opposed to sending the emails in plain text.

  13. Need to be able to filter and search for items and open it without going back to the current date.

    I am searching for charitable donations but I have searched for other things also. A lot of times I need to open an item to see if it is what i'm searching for, I can't always tell with just the subject line. But when I close the item, the search function returns me to the current date. Thank you.

  14. Why not use the flag setting to block spam from unwanted addresses?

    When you flag an unwanted email, that address should be blocked. I made a comment against late term abortion and every since I have been inundated with spam containing ****. I do not appreciate having emails like this and having to enter the address every time, The sender changes the numbers but includes white-airship in every one. I should be able to block all from white-airship.

    You can view a limited number of emails per page, by going to the AOL Mail basic version. To switch to the basic version, follow these steps:

    1. Open mail.aol.com and sign in.
    2. Go to ‘Options’ on the top right.
    3. Select ‘Basic/Accessible version’.

    To change the number of emails displayed on each page in the basic mail version, go to Options – Mail Settings – Page Size.

    To disable the “New Mail” notification please follow the steps:

    1. Sign in to AOL Mail.

    2. Under your username, click Options | Mail Settings.

    3. Click the “General” tab, if you’re not already on it.

    4. Next to “New Mail,” make sure to have unchecked the “Play a sound when new mail arrives”,

    5. Click Save.

    While it looks right in the sending e-mail, it is not.
