  2. Limiting 10,000 emails to 3rd party apps

    Please stop the limit of 10,000 emails being loaded into a 3rd part mail app. That should be a setting and if you want to load only 10,00 then set it that way. If you want all your emails you need to allow all emails to go through.

  4. EMAILS SENT ARE MUCH WIDER THAN THE SCREEN FOR THE RECEIVER

    My emails look normal but complaints from the receiver is that the email
    they receive from me is so wide that they have to move the screen back and forth to read it. I can't find any solution on the web for this frustrating problem.

    When I compose an email, I get three options for who the sender (i.e. From) is:
    @outlook.com--- is not me
    *p@aol.com is me
    *
    @aim.com------------------ is not me
    How do I get rid of the two emails that are not me?

    I keep getting pop ups that i need to verify my account. While I am in one account they want to send a code to another account?????? Why can't they do like other apps and send a code to your phone? Much less hassle.

  9. When something isn't broken don't 'fix' it because you usually break it instead.

    My email was working at 3am CDT now everytime I try to check it I get an error message saying I'm not logged in anymore. Then one of the Blerg errors.

  11. Basic/Accesible Failing / Requiring Logout/Login "randomly"

    NEED to restore stable Basic/Accessible access for mail.aol.com (and make it available in Options across ALL other interfaces).

    I am visually impaired, and AOL keeps over-riding my choice of screen color inversion -- have been using workaround of Options -> Standard then returning via Options ->
    In late afternoon 27JUN2022, started receiving "Blerk! Error 5" and requiring hoop-jumping to get back to my email.
    As of later afternoon/evening of same day attempting my normal steps fails and/or simply using Basic/Accessible is semi-randomly reporting "You are no longer signed in to AOL".

    The new icon which I was encouraged (insisted) to use is slow, cumbersome, and does not categorize emails as it does on my computer. As an example, everything goes to inbox and seems to stay there so if I am looking for an email I received last week, I have to laboriously go through the inbox.

  20. synch errors with third party clients causing email interruptions from AOL

    AOL - Yahoo, has made some changes in their IMAP protocol recently.

    First is a limit of 10k messages per 1 folder.
    And the second one is a feature that disconnects you after 1 hour of activity.

    Jun 10 The new Yahoo IMAP server also uses the yet-not-approved IMAP extension MESSAGELIMIT https://ietf.org/id/draft-ietf-extra-imap-partial-01.html So people with large mailboxes have issues running FETCH 1:* queries as it would return a NO
    It also seems that Yahoo now forcibly invalidates the IMAP session after 1 hour. C: X IDLE S: + idling ... some time passes, until 1h since login ... S: X…
