  1. do not reveal the complete recovery email/phone number when reverifying

    These should be partly hidden, and not all visible.
    If someone got my password, they will see these and will know what to hack next (secondary emails and contacts).
    Other email providers have these partly covered with asterisks and only showing the first and last character.
    This is one of the primary reason I dont use AOL frequently (only for non-critical subscription and trials), other than that, ALL SPAMS.

  3. Delete Recent Activities

    Dear AOL,

    Would you consider to add an option in the future to delete recent activities (e-mails added, phone numbers added, changed, 2FA added or removed)? It would be great to have the option to remove them manually or to have them removed automatically after some time. It can be annoying to have some stuff from the past there that are no longer in place.

  5. Feedback

    Feedback : Using my android phone, I have deleted bunch of political e-mails. Yet when I came home, I checked on the computer and I see that the e-mails I have deleted are still there. The tech expert helped me erase it using the PC, and it seems like the e-mails are in sync on both devices. Yet, I would like to refrain this issue from happening again.

  6. Disappearing Email

    Help! There's a ghost in the machine... I've had 10K+ emails disappear from my AOL in-box (verizon.net address) in the past couple months (both on my Apple iPhone and AOL web mail). I didn't notice at first, because the oldest mail was disappearing first. I first called AOL on 24 Oct and bought a 30-day single issue support plan (Case # 19462858). The base-level tech told me 7 days' worth of e-mail could be restored, but I declined, because all my mail dated 7 days earlier was still there.     Hi there. I'm sorry to hear you're emails are going missing! This can happens if your AOL email address is also connected on non-AOL email apps, such as the native email app from your mobile device or an email app on your PC like Outlook, Thunderbird and so on. We are unable to assist you with this issue from our side, however, I do recommend contacting the phone support line to have them take a further look into this issue. Our team can be contacted at 1-800-827-6364.

  8. settings won't update

    No matter how many times I change it, the location (for weather for instance) always changes to the wrong location. What is wrong. my account setting show my correct address, so if i'm in California why does it give me weather at 'my location' as NY, NY? I'm from NY but don't live there now and didn't even when I first joined AOL. why won't it reset when I change it?

  11. Manage privacy setting is not allowing me to manage.

    anytime I attempt to manage my privacy on my dash, I get a error saying you can not log me in at this moment. I can not adjust any of my privacy settings. You have me wide open including specific location. Fix this.

  13. Bring back the old system of AOL

    To AOL Office, stop playing games on us. There is no Spam settings and Filter settings. My new emails kept going to Trash. Fix up the system and ask us a question. Receiving new Emails, which site you want them to go: Inbox or Trash? Do your job correctly, if not I might use GMail more often.

  14. Back to AOL won't sync with microsoft update

    AOL account will not sync in outlook with Windows 10 update. All your pages of suggestions did not help. Windows simply suggested I change providers. These are long standing accounts and I don't want to do that.
    There has to be a good answer. If you must aggravate each other that's great but do you have to aggravate your clients every time there is a change?

  15. I tried to talk to someone about the inability to look up addresses or add a name. He disconnected in mid session. Retired to old form .

    Please, please, allow us to look up a contact, and to look up and use group settings or what ever you call them. Tried to get help but cut off in mid session with guy on the phone. Help line is useless. New form print is so small with no real space between each email. Good gracious, make it user friendly.

  17. RULES on the Mac app Mail do not work with AOL. Please make them work. Thanks. AEHaas

    I wish that mail on Mac, using the apple mail app, is configurable. I want SPAM to go directly to the trash and that it always be marked as read. RULES do not work. I rule that junk mail be marked as read and go to trash directly but none of this happens.

  20. Not getting audio notification when new mail arrives

    I am on an iPhone. I no longer get a audio notification when new mail arrives. I have the setting in AOL for me to hear a sound. I have my iPhone set up for me to get audio notification on my email. I have no clue what else to do but I need to know they're there. I also no longer get an indicator of new mail on my iPhone UNTIL I open AOL email THEN the number of unread emails show on screen.
