report malware
Do we have a way of reporting spam/malware to you (and then, hopefully, you do something about it)? For example, I've gotten two messages today, telling me that my email is going to be canclled or whatever, and these messages are apparently coming from other AOL accounts.

*AOL customers are bombed with spam leaking through any filters, this has nothing to do with malewarer
FIX THE PROBLEM
While most spam should be caught by our Spam filters, occasionally some can slip through. If that does happen it's very important to mark the email as Spam. It lets our system learn that messages from a specific place are not good and helps us make AOL Mail even better at recognizing future spam emails. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Massive spam I cannot BLOCK
I have SETTINGS on getting email ONLY CONTACTS yet every day I get 100 + emails from a site(s) that has infinite disposable none repetitive FROM addresses. I detest those FILTERS which DO NOT FILTER. PLEASE MAKE THE ACTUAL FROM CONTACTS ONLY DO EXACTLY THAT.
If you’ve started to receive an endless flow of junk email, you may be the victim of spam bombing. This is a tactic used by bad actors and hackers to distract you from seeing emails that really are important to you. This can also be an indication that another login account has been compromised.

How do I stop AOL filters???
People in my address book still get in my spam folder. Repeatedly I mark it as NOT SPAM and then it's in the spam next time. I'd rather just make up a rule that would take care of all my spam and not interfere with my good mail. Getting rid of the spam filters would do it.

spam settings
Your Product (ahem!) 'Support'(?!?) does not help one iota...as a reply which you gave as...."Due to recent adjustments to the AOL Mail platform, the Spam Settings customization, are no longer available for all accounts. We apologize for the inconvenience. In order to block a specific sender, go to Options – Mail Settings – Spam Settings and add the email addresses in the box below “Block Mail from Addresses I Specify”, then click Save Settings at the bottom, and in case you receive unwanted emails in the Inbox, mark them as Spam.".... DOES NOT WORK EITHER!!!!!
I enter the email address…After typing the email address in the ‘Block mail from addresses I specify’ box, press Enter on your keyboard or click on the + sign at the end of the box. After you are done adding all the email addresses you want to block, click on ‘Save Settings’ at the bottom of the page.

Way more spam now - why?
Up until about one week ago I got almost no real spam. I frequently found things I wanted to see in the spam folder, which was moderately annoying. Now I'm getting several actual garbage spam messages a day. You flag most of them, but they never got through at all in the past. What did you change? Please change it back.

MOVE SPAM
I wish I could off the SPAM filter. But, until that is possible how can I move a SPAM message into my IN BOX? Currently, checking the box to the left of the header and then clicking "MOVE TO IN BOX" sends the message to who knows where but it is not in the IN BOX. AOL should Automatically Empty SPAM folder after 5 days
Automatically empty spam folder.
When does AOL empty the SPAM folder. 10, 20, 30 days?Product Support (Product Support, AOL) responded Mar 24, 2022
to an idea from John Harding Mar 13, 2022
"Hi. The Spam and Trash folders are automatically emptied after a certain period of time, the oldest will be deleted first."I'm at 859 SPAM emails after 9 days (21 Oct through 30 Oct), I'm averaging 86 SPAM a day. I CANNOT HANDLE IT!
I was emptying the folder myself. why should the burden be on me to empty it?
Another 115 SPAMs on 31 Oct
Hi. Emails in the Spam folder are automatically deleted after 30 days. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you!

auto-delete spam box after content exceeds 100 entries
I have well over 1000 spam messages I have to delete each month. I can't possibly block everyone because they change the sending address.
Auto delete would accomplish this easily, or at least give us a Spam "delete all" option so we can clean up our account. You can hover over the Spam folder, in the right side of it, a Trash button will appear, this will delete all your emails from that folder.

Entries at the end of the Block is not filtering.
I have gotten SPAM in the Spam Folder after entering the email address.
Re-viewing the Block List I see my entries are (still) last.
I suspect this may be the reason the SPAM got through.
To better understand the use of the Block List my question is -
What is the time frame for the entries in the Block List to be sequenced?Hi there. Emails that are caught by the spam filter (going to the Spam folder) are not affected by the filters set. As for the blocking, please keep in mind that most spam is being sent from spoofed email addresses, meaning what you're seeing as the sender might not be a real email address. This is why the best way to manage spam is to mark emails going to your Inbox, as Spam. The spam folder then automatically empties after 30 days.

emails that don't block
I have several times entered the return email address sales@topdrops.org in my "block" settings. Emails with that return address still get through to my spam file and I'm wondering if anyone knows why. None of the other "block" addresses get through. Thanks for anyone who answers.
I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue! Spammers are constantly evolving their practices and blocking their email addresses does not help, as they are mostly sending emails from spoofed addresses or they send the same content but from different email addresses, which makes it look like they are coming from the same email address. Marking them as Spam teaches your personal filter to recognize them as Spam.
