I have the basic version of aol mail ( Free version) and used to be able to order my emails by From, subject , date etc.
However, now I am only able to order my emails by date and not any other column. Is this because I have the free version of AOL mail?
The Read, Unread and See All filters are no longer available. However, you can sort your emails by date, subject or sender if you switch to the Unified Inbox view.
If you’re unsure how to switch to this view, please refer to the following help article: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-switch-to-the-unified-inbox-view.

There are so many emails I wish to read later that I want to put them into topic folders--when there are many, it takes forever to mark each one to move to the folders. If I could sort them by sender, I could group them to mark and move to the folders. The way it is, I have over a thousand emails in my "new" folder that need filing. A pain!

About 1 week ago all by emails were cleared out, my inbox, sent mail, old mail, recently deleted mail. When I can tech support, they now say that I have to pay to try and recover the emails. They also said I did this.

why cant I get into my e-mail ?
You have not answered the question the person above asked. I used to be able to click on the "SENT" box and then on the "TO" heading and the emails would automatically be arranged in alphabetical order (or reverse alphabetical order), just like they are in the INBOX. This is a vital action for anyone who lets their mails go un-filed for a while, as I seem to do with SENT mails. Not being able to sort them in alphabetical order is terribly inefficient and is extremely time-consuming as I try to file them. Please, please return to having the emails in the SENT box sortable by names of senders. I am bordering on desperate, as I now have 137 sent emails to go through and determine which I want/need to file or delete. Thank you.

I don't have time to read all of your responses you got, but I have a "Sorting Folder" that I use and move my emails to that box in the morning (or when ever I get more email and have time) and you can sort your email any way you'd like. Sooooo much easier to get rid of spam!! You should try it. You can also sort by name & then spam it or read & delete or respond to the entire slew of emails all at once. Easy peasy. I went from a couple THOUSAND email to a coulple hundred every day. Thank you baby Jesus I thought of that! Good luck!

how can I get back like 500 Emails lost last week
When I want to download something that comes in an Email ( a video etc) it askes if I want to Download. I say yes but I don’t know where to go to view it. There doesn’t seem to be anything to click on. Help! Also, why do I have to sign in EVERY TIME i want to look at my Email? It didn’t like to be like that when I just had a MAIL Icon on my MC Pro.
Are you exploring a method to get in touch with the Yahoo mail customer service assistance team? Then you don’t require to go here and there because there are various ways given by Yahoo to contact them just follow the above link.

If you are unable to solve your issues in Yahoo mail, then you should not make any delay to dial Yahoo support phone number. Because Contact with the Yahoo support team is a nice approach to encounter numerous challenges.
use an alpha list using webmail
Please have new/old emails separated again like they used to be. When trying to organize and delete by sender, all mail is compiled together. Example - I have 1652 emails I want to go thru, when I hit sender to combine, it is over 11,000 emails (new old). Why did it have to change? have each type of emails (new, old, spam) set up like the spam folder where I was able to compile by sender, review and then delete as needed. please please please. i have had aol for 25 years and don't want to give it up but this is ridiculous! the standard/basic version doesnt help the situation. Thanks!
Put the drop down carrot back on "FROM" in email to alphebetize
How can I revive deleted emails?
Allow to sort mail by name, subject, date. It's so stupid I can't at least sort my mail by sender. It would make it so much easier to delete emails too.
Please bring back an unread section.
There's a single unread email from who knows when and its driving me insane.
grouping, like was possible at one time, so emails from the same source can read or deleted …

Even if you have placed an order online or over the phone, an order e-mail is a good way to put the details of an important business order in writing.
Quick Steps to sort emails in your AOL Mail folders: 1 Go to the folder: the current sort order shows an arrow on its header. 2 Click on a header to sort by that header (From, Subject, Date..) 3 To reverse the sort order, click on that same header another time.
