My AOL email will not stay signed in. Your "fix" for this problem doesn't work. Fix it or I will also go to Gmail. You leave me no choice.

I tried to sign in and was told that there had been 'some unusual activity on my account'. I had to sign in with a code sent to my mobile via voice call. I would like to know what 'unusual activity' there was on my account, or was this just a sneaky way by AOL to have my mobile number confirmed?
I am also unable to post this comment without allowing 'user voice' to access my profiles!!!! -

I sign in under my "L" email, you ask me to "verify" my email name starting with "R" I have to sign out of my "L" email, I go to my "R" name and get the code, then the verification thingy is GONE! WhaT a royal pain!
I think you need to come up with a MUCH BETTER SYTSTEM! -

Mentioned the steps to fix AOL Mail app problem for iPhone -
1. Fully close the AOL Mail app - Start by fully exiting the AOL Mail app (and all other apps or programs running in the background), then try opening it again.
2. Check for the app and system updates - To check for the AOL Mail app updates, visit your device’s app store. To check for system updates, visit your device’s settings menu.
3. Clear cache and data - You can typically clear cache/data via your device’s settings menu. This step removes temporary files to help free up needed space.
4. Uninstall/ Reinstall the AOL Mail app - On select devices, you can uninstall and reinstall the AOL Mail app to help alleviate any issues.
5. Restart your device - Restarting your device will help you refresh the entire device which will stop all the unnecessary apps running in the background that might be affecting the performance of the other applications. Also, it reconnects the internet connection.

Please correct this issue. This has been going on for MANY months. I have reported it several times. You have not responded nor fixed the issue. I have a 2 step authentication with Facebook. AOL asks after I sign in, do I wish to SAVE this sign-in so I don't have to re-enter it again each time I sign in. IT NEVER SAVES IT! I must re-sign in every 24 hours. This is a problem with AOL, and NOT Facebook. It is your client that asks me if I want to save the sign in. I respond that I DO wish to save it. PLEASE fix this issue and respond to me. Thank you. I have been with AOL since Version 2.0.I have lived in Northern VA where AOL started and have had family members who have worked for AOL.

I keep un-checking for AOL to send me a verification code message. but every time i sign on, it ask for verification code message. this is inconvenient because i work in a lab and cant remove my phone in the lab. I have to run out in the hall way, read the code, and memorize it while running to get back to my PC before the time runs out. Its ok if I have to do it when I forget my password, but I have to do this every day... Ive been leaning towards closing this email for this very reason. Someone needs to fix the option button so both options will work. Or show me another to bypass the verification code...

i'm tired of having to login again every couple days. if this keeps up, i will find another mail service to use. I also don't appreciate anti-Trump bias.

FIVE times I was sent a code to an alternative address due to an "unusual activity" alert at another sign-in. This wasn't at all workable due to being unable to enter in the verifying code at the faulty address. FIVE times. Please either fix the issue or I'll just start using my protonmail account instead.

I have the AOL app loaded on my lap-top. Lately, every time I fire it up, AOL says that it's been the first fime I have used this device and I needed to go through the secondary two-step verification process which has really become a nuisance in my usage of AOL. It hasn't been a problem before, but in the past two weeks it has become a problem. How do I fix it so that I lap-top as a device would be recognized by AOL once again every time I open it up?

This is getting ridiculous, is there any of you that can fix this sign in every time we want to get into our mail?
