post a visible link to password on every page on the Left column
I lose time trying to re-learn how to change the password, why do you hide every feature, one has to lose so much time opening different links to figure how to do a simple change of password...will you ever grow up....? You are over 25, behaving like 6 years old....

We have an article to help! Be sure to check out: https://help.aol.com/articles/account-management-managing-your-aol-password
You can contact our phone support representatives at the following number: 800-300-5017, 24/7. They will be more than happy to help you reset your password.
As much as I would like to help you directly, for security concerns, we do not handle account-related information through this forum.

I am trying to change my password, and have been for over a month, but AOL keeps telling me it is "TOO CLOSE" to a password I have used in the past. While I appreciate the fact that you are trying to help be be secure, I am an adult and should be able to make my password WHATEVER I want it to be. Furthermore, I have defended my AOL address for years when people laugh at it, they call me old and ask how long I have had AOL.... THIS password issue alone is going to send me to GMAIL, like the rest of the world. Just not a wise decision from a sinking ship.

PLEASE EXCUSE ME BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY TYPE OF TWITTER ACCOUNT. I DO NOT WISH OR WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH ANYTHING ONLINE. I JUST THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS ONLY FOR AOL.COM NOT THE WHOLE COUNTRY. I WILL KNOW BETTER NEXT TIME. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT YOU CAN'T REALLY TRUST ANYONE!!!

first of all when someone has already met the criteria, please do not make it harder by shutting out the person as you have me. I already have another account under another email address. at the moment I have had this account for many years with almost no problem until today, July 16,2019. you have mean spiritedly closed down my account simply because I did not comply with your demands. if you no longer want my business, I will take it elsewhere. However I really do not want to loose my account, because after awhile the system will not respond or recognize my present email address or password. after all of the trouble I had to go through with the online person to establish this account it seems ashame to loose it due to hard hearted malice. just allow people to simply enjoy their online experience. life is already full of problems that we deal with on a daily basis. being able to come online without anyone being mean. when is this world really coming to. Life is hard enough without all this.

Could not open AOL this am (7/15/19) because AOL set a special code which was to come from auto-phone message. It took 3 AOL phone calls to get it, please fix it. Also, there was a message that stated there was unusual activity on my mail with no explanation. At least give me some idea what's going on

What's wrong with my email? Was it tampered with? I tried to sign in and it said I had the wrong password so I changed my password and it told me that there was a problem but I looked up and the email was there.

I did not want to change my password, again! Why can't this be a option instead of being forced? Ask, Do you want to secure your account, but there is no option, why are you asking then? Is my account in danger or not. Don't say "it may be" in danger. I have enough passwords to keep up with, don't need to change every other year.

If you have an AOL email account then you don’t have to face any trouble to send the email and reading the received email. As well as you can, anytime access the email and manage the information. To get the security of your email, you should reset the AOL email password on a regular basis.
You can change AOL email password from Windows, Mac OS, and Android also. Do you want to know how you can recover AOL password? Follow the above steps.
You should have the password of your AOL email ID.
Open the web browser in your computer.
Go to the AOL email link.
Log in to your AOL email account by entering the username and the password and click on sign in.
Then go to the AOL email settings.
After selecting the AOL email setting click on the password change option.
Now you will have to enter the current AOL email ID password.
A new window will open which will ask you to enter the new password and confirm the new password.
Enter a new strong password and click on OK.
Now you have to click on continue.
Choose to save the changes and click OK.Finally, you have changed your password. You should once login into your AOL email account by the new password you have created to make sure you are able to sign in your email with new password. If not and you find that the password you entered is incorrect or there is an error while you log in your AOL email account. Then you can call on the AOL email support number.
Trained and specialized people will receive your call and probably will solve your issue.
Sometimes people forget their password, in that case, you can you can use your registered mobile number to reset AOL email password.
For that go to the login page and click on forgot the password. Then answer some security questions related to your AOL email account and enter your registered mobile number.
You will get a verification code to enter that code in the required field then you will be able to create a new password.

Trouble with new password.
When visiting family I have used their computer. In doing so I have lost my password. When I create a new password it does not work. This has led to much frustration. Why doesn't AOL let me use a new password?
