post a visible link to password on every page on the Left column
I lose time trying to re-learn how to change the password, why do you hide every feature, one has to lose so much time opening different links to figure how to do a simple change of password...will you ever grow up....? You are over 25, behaving like 6 years old....

We have an article to help! Be sure to check out: https://help.aol.com/articles/account-management-managing-your-aol-password
You can contact our phone support representatives at the following number: 800-300-5017, 24/7. They will be more than happy to help you reset your password.
As much as I would like to help you directly, for security concerns, we do not handle account-related information through this forum.

Long ago i was told that my account seem to have suspicious activity, and i should update password, which i did, but i can't remember the password - as IT man i have many password, by my most social account, turn around a circle - and when i want to reset that, i get a message that you had this password previously... and i have to go through many things to log in, dear sir, this account is my most important account and everything link back here, so i only open it in case of need, and if you ask me to set a password which is not same to my old ones, first why do you know how it looked liked... and if you store hash... still let me tell you, if i can't set a password which i can return too... then there is no point in setting that password... :| would you just prompt and tell the user that the password was used, but ignore it in case the user still want that specific password? :|

I can't find "settings" in order to change my password. It isn't under "options" and none of the key words have helped in locating it. How can I change my password in AOL? AIM"

Ok so I've had AOL since I was 15, I'm now 28. Like many people I forget my password so I sometimes have to reset it. Which normally they send me a code through text message and I get it fixed. Well I had to get a new phone and new number and I forgot my password. So I tried setting it got nowhere. Called to get it fixed still got nowhere. Turns out when I set it up when I was 15 it was under my dads account. Now they wont let me recover my account password to get to my email to pay Bills without his consent even though I'm 28 years old.But they would allow me to change my passwords before without his consent. How does that make since?! They need to put security questions to reset passwords instead of only phone numbers because those change all the time.

I have a master email address and some sub email addresses. I can't open one of my sub email addresses because of an outdated phone number listing. I need to have a space to insert a new phone number to receive a verification code to move beyond the outdated phone number listing to get my email. from one of my sub account addresses. The other possibility is to add a space for a verification to be sent to another email address. Your verification process needs these features to keep current with Aol customers needs. Could you please email me a code verification so that my sub email account can be logged into, instead of being blocked because of outdated information. Thank you very kindly. I look forward to using my sub email account soon. Thank you very much for all of your help!! By the way, my master email account is still in active use and there should be no reason for blocking any of my sub email accounts that are associated with it. I have been an Aol customer for years and I feel that all of my sub email accounts should be fully functional. Have a wonderful day!!

Instead of some ******* code that you have to put in to access your mail, how about doing what most sites do in asking questions that only that the person would know who has the email account as some people are no longer at their number that you sent the code to. I can't see my email because your stupid *** code to get in.
