I faithfully add my spam email addresses to Mail Settings, Spam Options, using the full addresses and variations of them, using *. Are you still using this information to filter my incoming mail? It does not seem so and it takes a lot of time to go through my spam and do this everyday. Why can't you add a 'Delete and Block' Function so I don't have to go through 6 steps to add an address, in addition to just Delete. It could be a one step function. Here is a list of my blocked addresses, from over the many years I have had my AOL account. Am I doing this correctly? What else can I do if you are not using it before droping spam in my folder? Thanks very much, Janet
I just want to get back to a larger type. Why should this necessitate a paying service?
Put a Permanent delete button in so the ****** e-mails won't come back each day. They are turning up in my regular mail box. So I send it to Spam and then delete. But the next day they are back. There has to be some way to stop them from getting into our accounts.
I do not believe the * wildcard in addresses works any longer. It did years ago. I'm being overrun with spam from .us and I put *@*.us in my block list and they're still getting through.
AOL now uses the same ****** spam filter as Yahoo.
Having only "one button with DELETE AND BLOCK" function should be a standard option
for every email. PLEASE PUT THIS OPTION IN EFFECT!!!
I agree ! it takes me time every day to delete all this spam coming into my mailbox, and the block addresses does not work ! I can type in the name and there is no place to click SAVE !!!! aol is sure not like it used to be at all and I am so frustrated with it !!! AND the huge full page ads on my aol site is totally distracting , we have so much advertising now it is no longer fun to use my computer !!!!!
Sorry, My spam addresses would not fit in your text box. I have hundreds of them in there.
