Stop the ads, nothing more nothing less AOL. lets start a cancellation policy
How about this, we all start to cancel our business with AOL until they rollback this ******* decision. They have taken advise from some clown or competitor to ruin a decent business. a 20 yr customer about to cancel.

the email I just sent to "support@mybowlsparkle" - one of the companies popping up at the top of my email Inbox
To whom it may concern:
Your ads have started pooping up at the top of my AOL Inbox as if they are an unopened email. I find this offensive, invasive and beyond annoying. Any business ads that pop up inside my Inbox will be a reminder to me to never use that business. That's what Spam filters are for. And this is a blatant end run around those filters. Please reconsider this unwise marketing approach. If AOL continues this practice, I'll close my email account.
A very annoyed AOL email user

Remove the ad from the top of my mail lists.
Stop asking for additional phone number. I have only one.
Stop asking for additional email address. I have only one ….. for now.
I pay for this service. Stop bombarding me.
I know selling user data is very lucrative.
Please....REMOVE the ads at the top of my emails which "look" like an email in my Inbox. They're offensive, invasive and designed to trick the user into clicking on them, and because of that, I would never use one of those businesses. Ever.
Get the ******* ads out of me aol inbox. I pay you money to use email and should probably go with gmail. Either remove them or I will switch and move me verizon phone service too.
I just discovered that by running CCleaner, the Ad was removed! Hopefully this will work for everyone! CCleaner is free.
Remove the ads that now appear at the top of the mail lists. EXTREMELY ANNOYING. 21-year customer will cancel if this continues.
To whom it may concern at AOL... please move the ad that has recently been placed at the top of users email list. It is purposely placed there to appear to be an email knowing users will click on it by mistake. If you must have an ad there place it above the FROM/SUBJECT/DATE line so it is clearly separated from the emails. I'm pretty sure that is where it used to be.
I understand the need for advertising... but this ad placement is a blatant attempt to cause people to click on ads by accident. Very poor customer service.
I really am asking you to stop the ads Thank you!
firstname.lastname@example.org Please stop them!

Please add an option not only to DELETE Spam (36 today, only 3 yesterday) but to be REMOVED from further mail/SPAM (i.e. Blocked) about credit fixes, E.R., and dubious treatments. Yes, I know that one can go to Options, Mail Preferences, Spam removal (which often doesn't work as the offenders' addresses are "invalid" or changed. Please help your LOYAL clients.

l am sick of these ads at the top of my new mail
I just hate the top listing in the list of my emails that looks like it's an email but is really an ad. I often click on it and then have to go back to my emails. I would never buy or do business with companies who choose to put their ads disguised as an email.

hate the ads you send on the side of my email. They are horrible and I especially don't like them on my screen in my office. I will cancel my use of AOL if it doesn't stop. Some are inappropriate and offensive.
Have PAID to use AOL since 1995. The ridiculous ads everywhere - home screen, email - everywhere you go have forced me now to simply check for new emails and log off. I agree - paying customers like me need to take our business elsewhere. I can get FREE service better than AOL has become. Even trying to read a story today took me minutes to load the slideshow because of the intensity of the ads.
You're absolutely right. When Steve Case was in charge problems were few and far in between but since it's been nothing but problems behind problems and getting worse every day.

The ads in our inboxes is a compromise to our computer security. They need to be removed.

I find the introduction of ads in the email service to be petty and annoying. I have been a subscriber for many decades and now have spam being directed to me directly and on my mobile. Insulting.
