SPAM - Return to Sender
Have a "RETURN TO SENDER " button that tells them to STOP sending mail. This will force them to deal with a flood of email in their box. AOL customers should not have to deal with trying to unsubscribe to all the junk mail. WHO SOLD my mail address to all of the Spam senders; AOL? STOP IT .

I could go to each one, follow their unsubscribe directions, including why I want to unsubscribe, but it would take an entire day. Sometimes I think it would be better for the companies that email me, and for myself, to only get emails that I still want to read.

PLEASE. UNSUBSCRIBE ME
The last thing you want to do is respond to SPAM. IT VERIFIES THAT YOUR ADDRESS IS VALID and you will likely RECEIVE EVEN MORE SPAM!
Blocking the address/domain works. A better solution is if AOL would send a "Invalid Address" message back to the SPAMMER, for which you would make a specific list.
I received SPAM in FRENCH, which I don't read, from a French ISP. They took my COMPLAINTS as an invitation to SEND EVEN MORE SPAM! They are now BLOCKED DOMAINS, on my Yahoo account.

I think an automatic "return to sender" button would in fact stop most unwanted mail.
You might want to check out YAHOO'S spam program, at the bottom of the spam e-mail there is a program where you can delete the mail or block the sender and if you block the sender it also deletes it at the same time and it does seem to work. it is a lot simpler then the AOL program.
Excellent Idea!!! I like "Return to Sender". We are bombarded with spam. What is going on? We didn't used to get this much spam. Is this your way of forcing us to purchase a plan??? That is soooooooooo low.
I cannot tolerate getting useless emails on subjects I do not care about. I want emails dinner sent to people I do business with or friends

Enough said but not enough done to correct this acute problem. My daily average spam receipts exceed 30 and rising. What are you doing at AOL to help solve this alarming problem??
Either that, or bring back the option you used to have (when AOL owned this company outright) of putting in email addresses that you would accept mail from. I am tired of thousands of emails that I didn't ask for flooding my box. If I find that you did this AOL, it will be $500 per company that you will be billed. You have now been warned.
I love this idea. I spend untold amounts of time unsubscribing and attempting to delete.
I agree! Return to sender is a much better solution than DELETE. Nothing happens with DELETE or THIS IS SPAM.
Put back the block all mail. Add a return to sender button.
