Recovery Phone Number
Change your instructions to read that you only want a MOBILE (i.e. cellphone) number -- but NOT a landline number.
I do not have lots of money, so have a land line, as social security check is small, but no place for land line, when I use land line, it does not work as it wants a cell phone, fix this problem, take care of your customers not the pop up advertising....
That's twice in twelve minutes you've locked me out.
TWICE IN FIVE MINUTES!
What is the problem?
I don't have a mobile phone. For that reason I got shut out of my email. Goddammit !!!!!
"Very inconvenient" not to be able to log in to my E-mail unless I add a mobile phone number, I don't have a mobile phone.

agreed with above - inspite of the feedback not change - locked out of the aol account, useless landline as a recovery method and no ability to contact anyone as need to log into the account....and then ask me for an email contact - crazy
Don't lock me out after one typo just because I don't have a cell phone!
I do not have a mobile phone, and new account process will not accept my landline number.
you have my mobile number wrong . THE CORRECT ONE IS :210-519-8286

I am with this guy. The last time you asked for a recovery phone number I couldn't get into my account until I added a phone number. So I did, it is a land-line and completely useless as a recovery device. Now you have it and when i need help... AOL will send me a text. That will be a big help!

I do not have a mobile phone, and new account process will not except my landline number. Can I use my landline to sign up for an account?
