UNSUBSCRIBE NOT WORKING
Recently the UNSUBSCRIBE link at the bottom of spam emails doesn't work. Why? At the top of spam there is now a yellow bar that contains the message: we have disabled links and pictures. If you think it's safe then mark it as 'not spam'. It's SPAM! How the **** do I know if it's safe or not? Frankly, I don't want to find out. I just want unsubscribe and not get their ****** spam anymore and delete what I have gotten. Get it sorted, AOL.

Started with 6 spams a day. I now have over 70 a day, most of them being duplicates of them same ones. Cannot unsubscribe !
I keep getting these spam messages that won't let me move them to the Spam Folder because they insist I Unsubscribe, but when I click "Unsubscribe," they bounce and disappear unreported as Spam.
I may be wrong - but if the UNSUBSCRIBE link is in the spam email, it is probably just a PART of the scam, and just another way that the sender is trying to trick you to clicking on a link that shows them - the sender - that you are a live person who is easily tricked.
If I were you, I'd run your antivirus and malware scan, to make sure you haven't invited anything unwanted, by clicking on a link in the spam mail. And stop clicking on UNSUBSCRIBE, just block that sender in your mail & spam settings.
Would it be possible for you not to disable links to Unsubscribe in SPAM messages? That sure would help. 😊
Probably the only change AOL has ever made that makes me wanna leave their services. My spam folder usually has less than 10 messages a day. If I can't unsubscribe that's gonna skyrocket and become unmanageable and then I'm going to miss real emails going into spam for stupid reasons.
