POP3 connection to pop.aol.com no longer working for the past 2 weeks, was working for years
Heya AOL Mail Support Team,
I transitioned to using my aol mailbox using an external email client years ago. It was working for many years with the setup described in your help article (https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-use-other-email-applications-to-send-and-receive-my-aol-mail). I'm no longer able to connect to pop.mail.com over port 995 with my normal main external email client, as well as a second test configuration of the normal Win 10 'Mail' client that I've tried. I've tried both 'onesweetworld' for username, as well as 'onesweetworld@aol.com', nothing works. Error log show, "Server returned error "[SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later."
I am able to spot check my email via webmail site, but that's not a permanent solution for me. Please fix pop3 connectivity to my AOL mailbox.
Thanks,
-OneSweetWorld@aol.com

I have been having the same issues as described in the comments below. My aol email works on my AOL News site via my Windows 10 computer but will not work on the mail app by windows/microsoft. And will not work on my android phone since April7. It continues to say Incorrect password; Authentication required. Every time I put the correct password in, it flips back to can not connect. I have changed password trying that mode. I have updated google chrome, that did not work; I reinstalled Windows 10; Nothing has changed it. AOL, kindly tell us what to do. Thank you.

Jeff D shared what idea???
I have been unable to get my AOL email in my 365 Outlook for almost a month now. Is someone ever going to offer some help? I can't count the number of times I have sent the troubleshooting data to MS and nothing, so I thought I would try from this side and it looks like the same nothing is going on here. I have years worth of emails in my Outlook folders and now I can't 'pop' the new ones in. HELP

This is not a new idea; this is a HEAVY DUTY COMPLAINT about the changes to your service. For the past month, since 15 March 2021, I have been unable to access AOL on Iphone, IPad, or Samsung/Android phone. I get a msg that says "No password provided for AOL;" But, obviously, I have PROVIDED the correct password, but it still will not connect. This is the third time I have complained about this. DO SOMETHING!!!! JPC

I can't get e-mails to my iPhone and iPad but can log into aol.com. Says my password is incorrect. Changed my password but nothing works. What happened to stmp.aol.com and imap.aol.com?
I have been using aol since it first started. Are they just looking for monthly money for tech support?

Same here, for last two weeks; can get e-mails okay on laptop, but not on my IPhones, Ipad or my Samsung Android. Have double-checked all settings & are perfect. Very frustrating. I wonder...do any of these software whiz-kids ever look at any of these problems &/or comments? Is there ever any feedback? Is there ever any progress? Have had several friends drop out of AOL in the past year & gone to another provider; I'm considering the same thing. Do you think they are trying to run all of us off so they can shut AOL down???

Similar issue - but on just one of two Netscape.net accounts. Webmail OK but Outlook and Android Samsung email app not working since last night for one of the two accounts - very strange.
