Leave it alone.
I think it stinks that you add an advertising line to my email and then offer to take it away for more money.
This, on top of taking away the ability to filter and avoid spam.
I know someone is paying you more than I am to allow more and more spam directly in my inbox but I've been a loyal customer for a long, long time and it's not going to take much more to drive me away.

Do you stay up nights thinking of ways to be more annoying?
I've got one for you: Prove you're not a moron. Oh wait - you can't.

I am a fully paid member (I know I'm stupid to pay you when I can get this for free). And yet I have an ad line in my email (this is new) and you are offering to remove it for $5 per month. I guess what I should do is go free, and then pay the $5/mo for ad free. I'd save $10 per month. Is that what you prefer?
This idea is appalling, my wife is dying in hospital and I don't want to see ads for cremation, home care etc. I shall stop using AOL in a month if you don't remove it.
