This is my 4th or 5th attempt to draw attention to the fact that MS Outlook 2016 and 2019 no longer function on multiple computers to access AOL emails. AOL Support responses have not been helpful, and have not resolved the problem. Please do not send me another email that "Your idea has been merged" into another useless response that does not alleviate the issue, nor provides useful advice. All indications point to an AOL server issue, or something that needs to be addressed by a Systems Administrator. Error code returned is consistently 0x800CCC0E - "contact your server administrator", "cannot synchronize subscribed folders for AOL".
My Outlook (both 2016 and 2019) stopped being able to access AOL emails on multiple PCs at exactly the same time on April 21, 2021 at around 4 p.m. EDT. Installing and reinstalling AOL in Outlook does not work. Changing port settings didn't work. I need to use Outlook to access my AOL emails. I'm exceptionally tech savy troubleshooting IMAP email problems, but this appears to be an AOL server problem. Error code returned is consistently 0x800CCC0E - "contact your server administrator", "cannot synchronize subscribed folders for AOL". Please fix the AOL serve issue. It's now May 13, 2021.

What did you do? It won't sync with my Gmail. Says my credentials or password is wrong, yet I long in with it at aol easily! Bye.

I always migrated to Outlook and it stopped working a few days ago! What gives? I like having all of my emails in one place!

AOL no longer sync mail on Windows PC or iPhone since approx. 13 May 2021. I've removed account and reloaded. I've changed my password. Still the account will not sync and download current email. Can you help?

No longer receiving internet AOL on my 'smart phone" it stopped at 2:43 pm EST. for no reason that I did. I tried to reloading and its saying "IMAP email Password incorrect". Password works on every other device. How broken is the Internet?
For years I've been using my email account email@example.com via Thunderbird. Everything was working well until it was updated to 78.8.0 (32 Bit). Since then every time there comes the infor-mation '[SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later'. This information has been coming up in the past as well, but after a few hours it disappeared and everything was fine. This time it seems to be a permanent condition.
Even after installing it on a new computer (78.10.0. 64 Bit) with importing the profile from the old system nothing changes and the information still comes up.
I also tried to set up a new account, before importing the old profile (Server Type: POP Mail Server; Server name: pop.csi.com; Port: 995; Connection security: SSL/TLS; Authentication method: Normal password). But still there was no connection to the server possible.
Different email accounts work well via Thunderbird. It is also possible to use Compuserve via Firefox / the AOL-website.
I kindly ask for help and a solution to this problem.

Yes, the AOL server problem is affecting multiple users. All Microsoft products simultaneously became nonfunctional.

I have the same problem. Outlook 365, Microsoft Mail and Outlook for Android all stopped working for AOL.
It's been 3 weeks since I could access my email via Outlook 2016 or Outlook 2019 on multiple PCs. I've had 0x800CCC0E issues before with other email service providers using IMAP, and it's usually a server issue that has to be addressed (not a user issue). It just needs the attention of an administrator. A front line customer service person can't handle this sort of problem.

Since 3 days it is not possible to receive aol mails in OUTLOOk? Message: No connection to imap server! Working in AOL directly and also in thunderbird!

PLEASE FIX the issue, it is annoying to be unable to read emails from any mobile mail app/outlook other than web browser, this is so INCONVENIENT! and this has been more than a month!

I cannot access my email from anything other than your garbage website. Can't load it on the mail app on my computer and can't load it on the mail app on my phone. It keeps telling me the account name or password are wrong, but neither are. I thought sticking with your garbage would be easier than doing all new email address, I was wrong.
