I agree. There is entirely too much spam emails, and most are coming from the same extension; e.g. "@hotdealls.com." Hopefully extensions will be able to be blocked.

Wish they could vaporize the ones extorting money by claiming they have my passwords
So creepy - wish they would all vanish off the face of the earth or at least from AOL mail -

Way too much spam going into my main email and not my spam folder.

This is the number one complaint that I have with AOL. I get at least 100 and more spam or junk mail each and every day. I am so tired of deleting them all

Can you sort this out ?having a average of 26 spam e-mail per day, it has been going now for nearly a month

Yup! This is it, the junk mail. I am guessing that this is how AOL gets its revenue.
Now, I don't mind the margin ads, but it bugs the **** out of me to see the ad load on the screen with no problem, but my AOL mail comes up second, sometimes a distant second.
Also, don't use ads that move. It's obnoxious. We are not parentless 13-year-olds. We are adults. What kind of product would YOU like to see and use, AOL executives? -

Experience the same as others on this thread. Way too much SPAM everyday for the past 2 months.Something on AOL end had to change to have this level occur. AOL can easily prevent this -- so wake up and do something!!

I checked at the Verizon Store at Trinity Point in Washington PA and the "service person" was not aware of these and said that the messages are "probably spam". Would be nice if they were better informed.

The amount of Spam I receive in my aol email is horrible! And disgusting spam, as well. It goes into my junk folder but I still clean it out daily and there's as much spam as there is mail! Why is aol allowing it to go that far? I really think it's time to cancel my aol account.

These are the worst Spam mail exchanges causing a huge increase in SPAM Mail.
Surely AOL can block them at their servers instead of letting them come through like a Ddos attack.

Hi. I have receive 2 emails asking me to make changes to my account by October 1st or my account will be deleted.
Is this coming from the real AOL or is it someone phishing for my info??
Thanks,

I have received 3 emails to change login and POW in last week.
It is critical that all mail notifies users that these are phishing expeditions. -

I had no problem with Spam on AOL until this happened:
When was AOL bought out by Verizon Communications?
Under his leadership, the company invested in media brands and advertising technologies. On June 23, 2015, AOL was acquired by Verizon Communications for $4.4 billion. On May 3, 2021, Verizon announced it would sell Yahoo and AOL to Apollo for $5 billion.
